Short of a miraculous epiphany, that first B1G game is going to be crazy. They might triple us up on the boards. 

Like, 72-16 or something. 

 

Some hard lessons are going to be learned in this first year of B1G play.

I thought I saw a quote from Fred that said he “couldn’t take Thor off at the end.”  Sounds like it was more for defensive and rebounding purposes.  However the quote was in reference to Burke.

Fred had him on a short leash, not sure why. Didn’t play at all in OT.

Well, it seems like Dachon's head wasn't in it... he only made 1 of 6 FTs; and, his usual good D was horrendous last night.

Fred was really effusive in his praise of Thor on his post-game. Said Thor does all these intangible things that don't fill a stat sheet. Knows just when to back-cut, stuff like that.
