With his mobility and footwork, in 5 years he could be a D2 all-American at Offensive Tackle if he put his mind to it.

With the commit from Eduardo Andre, we're full up. No more room. So, looks like we missed out on this kid, who committed to Southeast Missouri State. (He probably had an inkling the Andre commit was coming and so took his fall-back option at SEMS.)

A friend of mine had dinner and drinks with Keith, T Buchanan, and Morgan Gregory a while back.  Neubert said that when he told Danny he was trying out for football, Danny said you'll never play, it's a stupid idea, I'm pulling your scholarship.  (Tom Osborne put him on a football scholarship right away, then he got drafted and spent five years in the NFL.)  He said that was the last time he ever talked to or even saw Danny Nee.

Regarding the scholarship issue, I thought that there was a rule that any time you had a crossover athlete the scholarship diverted to the highest revenue sport???  Plus, wouldn't Danny like the idea of finding that extra scholarship?

A part of me wonders if this offer was part of a package deal to get his 7’0” Center teammate Davion Bradford to come here.  Bradford picked KSU in the end.
