uneblinstu Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 Was he expected to stay in the draft? Quote
khoock Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 Yes. Tested well at the combine and shot up to low to mid first round pick Quote
uneblinstu Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 Good for him. If he puts the work in, he could have a Korver-esque, or maybe a Ray Allen-lite type of career. Quote
Fullbacksympathy Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 Definitely a good NBA prospect with the height/shooting combo. Thrilled to see him go. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 Their big guy is returning. If they have the complementary players, they should be good. Quote
uneblinstu Posted May 30, 2018 Report Posted May 30, 2018 They've recruited well. I have no question whether or not they'll be talented. It's Turgeon's in game decisions that raise the questions. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted May 31, 2018 Author Report Posted May 31, 2018 I am not sad that Huerter can hurt the Huskers no more. colhusker and NUtball 2 Quote
royalfan Posted May 31, 2018 Report Posted May 31, 2018 While it seems like a good thing at first glance, I am not sure it is after seeing how important a down league perception was last year. BmoreRed 1 Quote

We need a stronger showing from the conference come November/December than we saw last season. NUtball 1 Quote
Jacob Padilla Posted June 1, 2018 Report Posted June 1, 2018 Maryland has a top-10 recruiting class plus Cowan and Fernando returning. Huerter would have pushed them over the top but they still have plenty of talent. I took a look at what the draft decisions made for all the teams impacted if anyone is interested. Quote
