I would like to challenge your teams with my "All-time favorite huskers"

 

I need to be open and honest with you guys... before attending Nebraska in 2007, i didnt follow Nebraska sports *ducks chair throw from Norm*

 

 

So my team will be post 2007.

 

 

And by all time, i want this to be known, this is my all time hilarious/awesome dudes team.

 

 

PG- Lance Jeter- true point guard. Just a boss on the court and a great guy off it. Plus i was covering a game once and took a picture of him shooting and he used it as his facebook profile picture for like 3 years... so i sort of felt like we were best friends.

PG- Mike Peltz- I tried to leave him off the list and go with Cookie Miller or Benny Parker but he just kept flexing his arms at me till i got scared and added him.

 

SG- Mike Fox- . Because every team needs a cheerleader and a really awful stache game, gotta go with Mike Fox.

SG- Terran Petteway- Still had the greatest year of any Husker player i have ever seen. 

 

 

SF- Christian Standhardinger- Every team needs a guy with wavy locks who is a complete wild card at every second on the court. Plus he helps with the foreign angle.

SF- Shavon Shields- I want my unborn daughter to marry a guy like Shavon. He is exactly the guy i want representing Nebraska.

 

PF- Chris Balham- I dont care if he has the knees of a 82 year old shoe shine guy, he adds the toughness factor.

PF- Brandon Ubel- The dude actually turned in to a very solid basketball player over his time here. By far one of my favorite guys to cover when in the J-school and happy to see him succeeding overseas. This is no joke, he was a legit basketball player.

 

C- Jorge Brian Diaz- Look at my profile picture and dont ask any questions.

C- Shang Ping- I watched him practice at the Rec center one time, and was dumbfounded by how bad he really was... but every team needs that guy.

 

Honorable mentions:

Trevor Menke

Kye Kurkowski- Cost us a point in the tourney game with his pregame dunk so he got the ax

Eshaunte "Bear" Jones- Best nickname and pretty good 3pt specialist.. Needed more to make the team.

Toney McCray- He was Tracy McGrady except didn't care and wasn't as talented. 

Cookie Miller- His short length almost had him on the team

Benny Parker- I will miss the sparkplug. Lost out to some biceps.

Andre Almeida- Saw him at the grocery store once and couldn't understand how he didn't have 25 rebounds a game... O ya, he couldn't jump and fouled out in the first 3 minutes.
