Norm doesn't want no damn double-digit seed beating Baylor in the first round and showing us up no how.  Especially no damn Ivy League team.

The refs were really pulling for the underdog in the Baylor game.

 

Good for Yale, though.  They still had to take advantage of the gifts the refs were giving them.

Too bad we couldn't have played that Purdue team. The one I saw yesterday obviously ate some rancid clams. How else do you explain the confusion, disinterest, and fatigue which would cause a team to blow a 13 point lead against such an inferior opponent? Did they do that simply to mess up my bracket as early as possible? How can a team with more than 5 seconds and two time outs left on the clock have to settle for a half court heave? Did the thin, frizzy haired Euro center simply intimidate the three behemoths who showed up to play us? Thanks a lot Painter, now go have another helping of clams.

Matt Painter, Purdue, 5 seed, loses first round to USC, 12 seed.

 

Cuonzo Martin, Cal, 4 seed, loses first round to Hawaii, 13 seed.

MSU has trouble guarding smaller faster 4 and 5s.  I think that is how we have beat them the last few years.

 

I mean all Middle is doing is getting the ball to there "big" and clearing a side.  He goes to the hole, no help and either scores, gets fouled or both.

Does every team that plays the 40 min. of hell style with a small 5 always have to be that guy in the dreads.

 

Don't get me wrong I wish I could have worn my hair like that back in the day, but MTS, VCU, etc.

 

It kind of seems to be a trend.
