  1. The film on him looks good...both back to the basket and 3 point skills. Not real athletic, as you would expect.
  2. This would be great! Is it a reliable source?
  3. Have you heard something?
  4. Seems to be the attitude of so many people these days. Take no ownership for your own decisions, just conveniently blame someone else!
  5. Andew White III is still in play but he is the only transfer player that we are in on that I know of.
  6. I'm curious how many more we have room to take in 2015? And, if there is more room, which positions are we in need of and who are the priority targets?
  7. (sic) An inch and a half in the past month? How tall is he now?
  8. Mason would be a huge get in terms of scoring for any team. Between his probable need for the ball, his desire to make the NBA, and his Dad's involvement I'm not sure how disruptive he'd be to an established team like we have. I'm sure for a mess like they probably have in Auburn he makes a great band-aid. I don't see that he's committed to Auburn yet. I got the Auburn piece from the Twitter posts about him. Hit his name on the list and you will see the posts.
  9. I read a week or two ago that there is a 6'3" senior guard transferring from Niagara who also happens to be the leading returning scorer in the nation at 26 ppg. I'm surprised he isn't in this list. You missed the part I put in bold. This is based on the players ranking BEFORE college. Yes, I see that now. The Niagara kid is on the complete list and it appears he is headed to Auburn. Thanks for posting this Kamdy.

  11. I'm not trying to rain on the parade. I think the class of Hammond, Smith and Ayegba is solid, but certainly nothing great in the B1G. I think Fuller should be able to help out next year. We had a great opportunity to take advantage of some positive momentum from March on, and we basically struck out. In Miles I trust, but that doesn't mean I'm pleased with how things have gone since our season ended. Reminds me of what we said about the Shields, Petteway, Pitchford group when they came on board.
  12. I agree lanigan. It's hard not to be impatient. I do think it will take some more building/success and we'll be there. By the way, I didn't mean to jump on you about the post of Illinois coming into the picture with Morrow. I'll try to behave.
  13. Hmmm your post just seemed a bit gleeful. Thus my reaction.
  14. From the recent Rivals articles and indications of those players we're focusing on for 2015 my impression is we want to sign a PG, not a SG.
  15. I can imagine that we have a prioritized list of players we target and the time allocation is based on their priority. Could a kid like Fleming have been a lower priority recruit? I assume Baptiste is high priority but we lost touch through the Smith transition as Craig Smith was his lead recruiter and once Molinari was hired Coach Miles assigned Hunter to him. That whole process took 6-8 weeks.
  16. Wow, good find Coach! Hmmm, hope we are talking to him. The 3 point sharp shooting is something we need!
  17. Was there a mention of interest in or from Nebraska? I live in Kansas, so there was no talk of Nebraska (or any other schools). Just that he was looking to transfer to get more playing time. Shoot! I got excited for nothing. Georgetown did recruit him but Rivals didn't list whether or not Kenya was the guy for Georgetown. He did not visit Georgetown.
  18. From the Jayhawk website, White is listed as a 6'7" 3 point sharp shooting wing from Virginia. He played sparingly both his freshman and sophomore seasons. And from a Rivals article, White was a four star recruit considered the 51st best player in the country, averaged 22.9 ppg and 10rpg his senior year and was considered a beyond the arc sharp shooter.

  20. Regarding UNLV being full, it sounds as if one or two more players may transfer out, thus making room for Cornish if he so wishes to commit to them. I read this on another site.
  21. I've had the same problem.
  22. How good is Cornish Kamdy? I know you said he needs work on his shot. Will he contribute next year? He's a better overall player than Hawkins. He has things to work on but would have time to improve. He has the tools to be a solid player. I dont see him being a major contributor for a couple seasons. He would be a good 7th-8th man next year. Thanks Kamdy. We can use someone like this, and a 7-8th man is still valuable. I'm becoming more optimistic. The whiff on Deng really hurt, but a Cornish commit would ease some of the pain!
