  1. Yes, I believe we do. I see a plethora of excellent post moves by our bigs. I also see them being practiced in pregame. Some days we are out-executed and some days we are out-schemed; but I do not doubt the staff's knowledge of coaching back-to-the-basket technique.
  2. We have zero room for error. Unfortunately we made more than our share...hard to overcome. Our turnovers led to breakout baskets. The free-throw differential was unbelievable. Their defense concentrated successfully on shutting down Tominaga and Sam G. We fought for awhile. That was nice. Sam Hoiberg played well.
  3. So...at the end refs learned of the egregious foul shot descepency.
  4. Okay...now it is going to be a debacle.
  5. Could have been a foul???? What the hell. Come on!
  6. They are 15-15from free throw line. We continue to look like a JV team handling the ball. Other than that...
  7. The difference in this game is easy...free throws.
  8. Can someone please tell the extremely unbiased, professional and exceptional game officials about the free throw discrepancy???
  9. Free throw differential is insane
  10. Have we shot a free throw yet?
  11. Good job the first 4 minutes.
  12. Sorry, I would not spend the time or resources recruiting him a third time. Nope.
  13. Good comeback. We fought a good fight against a heck of a team on their home court.
  14. Iowa has a very talented group. But they play extremely hard...that takes them from a good to great team.
  15. But getting in on a kid on the ground floor is important for this program. I think we can all agree that we have recruited plenty of bigs to Nebraska that are projects to varying degrees. One could argue that every big we have on our current roster (heck go back years) have been projects. A player like Mikki Moore was a great example of not maturing into his game for 5 or 6 years post HS graduation. The kid appears to have skillsets that can be built upon. I say he is someone, like Sammy, who may be a perfect program match.
  16. You're lucky I didn't put something like 1998...
  17. Who makes the actual game assignments? Who ratifies or approves or grades officials? Can officials lose their certification if they are not doing their job correctly? Can the officials be graded, regulated and assigned by an independent source rather than the league or NCAA? Hey, refereeing is a tough job. Yet like almost every job, the individual chooses the profession and are getting paid a salary and expenses for each gig. If THEY don't like it, they can quit. The question is, if they are not doing their job, can they be fired? Fined? Held accountable?
