Man, this is sort of tough. Especially with where we should be, and want to be. Yes, we have two starters out. We also had a five game stretch where DW was out. Yes, we are playing unselfishly. Yes, we are playing hard. BUT...I am not sure we have played effectively all the time. We are having stretches of offensive lapses. We are giving up a number of open look three's. So we are effective at times, but aew still inconsistent. Although we have had a few excellent results, our inconsistency, which includes our offensive deficiencies; along with our current record overall and in the league, prevents me from saying we have had excellent results.

Yeah, couldn't get off the snide in the first. That was tough to watch. But otherwise, a well played game. By the way, the onesies were well received.

I had pretty low expectations going into the year. Effort, rebounding, defense and running the offense has generally met or exceeded my expectations. Finishing on offense, specifically hitting open looks created by running the offense sometimes meets; but oftentimes (frustratingly) falls well below my expectations.

Yeah, this is a tough one. I thought CJ would have elevated (no pun intended) his game this year. Perhaps he has a bit on the defensive end; but certainly not on the offensive end. Missed bunnies, failure to consistently hit open look 3's and generally looking out of sorts has been the theme. It is surprising to me because he appears to have worked hard at reforming his body in preparation for the year. At this point, the issue may be between his ears. Starting a game like last evening, missing an open lay up, has to be getting to him. We need him, and I am hoping the light clicks on for him. Perhaps allowing him to come off the bench for a few games would shake off the gremlins? Gotta do something.

Well, not much to say. Came in with zero expectations and we lost with some dignity intact.

Welp...we missed a couple bunnies, gave up a lot of 3's, some offense boards; but are kinda hanging in there. After the first several minutes, we sort of hung right with them.
