Pewaukee has won their first two postseason games and are now in the “Sweet 16” of the state playoffs. Last game, Janowski had 39 pts, 10 reb, 3 ast, 3 stl. Next matchup will be a tough test, going up against a highly recruited 4-star center and a 3-star combo guard with a few power 5 offers.

My boy was in the hospital due to something outside of his control when the two of us sat in that hospital room & watched on a 20" TV that horrible gut-punch of a ballgame against NW, with opposing guards Boo Buie & Ty Berry htting dagger 3 after dagger 3 whilst mocking Keisei every chance they could. I was livid for a lot of reasons outside of our control. I was just mad and everything sucked. But God's good all the time. My son is starting to heal from his ordeal and on the road to recuperating, and we've been able to attend every single game this season together.  It's been a remarkable time to be resilient and have so much resolve, just like the NU team we cheer for.

To be honest, my 16 y.o. son is my hero. He hasn't blamed anyone or anything for his misfortune or any of his trials or troubles, instead he bucks up in the midst of pain & anguish and keeps his chin up even though he hasn't been able to fully participate in his H.S. sports thus far in the spring season. He is able to start back to his spring season, albeit generally from the sidelines, but his upcoming surgery has finally been set for about two weeks from now, after the regular season, coincidentally. And, after that, then he ought to be able to slowly get back to doing what he loves, soccer, he's played it since he was around 3!!

Not to have this post become too personal, sorry about that... but it is kind of personal to us, I'm saying all this here because I realize that Nebrasketball has been kind of a God-send in a time of fear & unknown circumstances in our lives, and we have made sure to be there at PBA for everyone else we sit by & we cheer our little hearts out for the 2023-24 Huskers -- and watch all the away games together -- because we freakin' care. It's been a fun ride. let's keep this rollin'!! GO BIG RED!! Let's buy our dancin' shoes!! GBR - and we love HHC !!!

Indiana needs to find players willing to get on the floor for loose balls.  Every time there was a loose ball where the teams had to get on the floor, it was always Nebraska.  Not once did Indiana get on the floor.  Indiana has to find those players.  It took Fred a few years to realize it's not just the number of stars the player has, but the effort those players give.

My favorite moment in the game was when the stooge 35 feet away from the play with a 100% blocked view comes running in and overrules the baseline stooge who had a clear view of the play 3 feet directly in front of him.

And that's a good indicator that this team is a cohesive, locked-in group of guys. Any of 'em could be The Man on any given night. It's a beautiful sight to behold. Let's keep it rollin'!

Loved the way our guards were willing rebounders - especially Lawrence - that made a big difference and let our big guys tie up their big guys, rather than focusing on grabbing the ball. They still got us on the boards, but without that effort from our guards, it would've been a lot worse.

When we went to that small-ish lineup coming out of the timeout after IU cut it to 3,  I thought the coaches were crazy, but that was just the right antidote - swarming their big guys got them out of their comfort zone and let us stretch the lead back.

Brice was so good after IU cut it to 3. Lawrence was too, but -- to dust off an oldie but a goodie -- that was Brice figuring out how good he can be.

Nice to show some grit on the road after IU made its run. Bodes well for these final few weeks. Now 24-10 over our last 34 games. That's insanely good.

I’m just here to man up and eat crow - yesterday on this thread I said we had no shot of beating Iowa with #22 in the lineup. Wow! I’m thrilled to be proven wrong!!

And that, my friends, is why I don’t bet on sports.

The announcers were so busy fawning over CC that they barely acknowledged a Husker comeback for the ages. That shot by Jaz was so clutch!

Always feels good to kick the crap out of Ohio State in anything. In basketball, no team in the league does less with more talent.

Was more than a little worried after scoring 13 points in the first 8 minutes, but the offense was not too bad after that 😄 70 pts in the final 32 minutes will get the job done most nights.

Our rebounding was excellent - for a team that rebounds offensively as well as OSU, for us to win the 2nd chance point battle like that (16-2) was beyond impressive, especially without Gary.

When the weather is bad, the quiet people are more likely to stay home and a greater percentage of the ones who brave the weather have been pre-gaming, so ...
