  1. Yeah, it might. But also, the way the system is set up now is not necessarily how it will always be. There will be adjustments made over time that will stabilize the systems. Right now, we're seeing the ripples from the boulder that got thrown in the lake.
  2. That could be a good thing for the game. If it keeps some of the good players around longer, the better the product should be
  3. Oh, yeah, for sure. It’s full on business now. Some are gonna learn that the hard way and be the example for many. There will be a market correction, several probably, as time goes on.
  4. Tweet doesn’t come up on my phone. Who is this?
  5. Really enjoyed this first segment with CJ on 93.7 the other day.
  6. Well, Wilcher turned out to be one. I still think Tominaga could be one after getting settled at this level with a more restrained/defined role.
  7. We don't know that. If the get the right fights and chemistry, they could very well exceed the outside expectations. They sure seem to be filling the needs we've been harping on for a while pretty nicely. Remains to be seen how that impacts the W/L totals.
  8. I mean, if he becomes what Shamiel Stevenson was supposed to be, that'd be just fine.
  9. He'll have 3 years left, it looks like, so perhaps he's one of those players that steadily improves over his career and can be a more liable contributor later in his time here on the offensive end. That's not a bad thing.
  10. They definitely use it. Not sure how comparable it is to football, but at least the top guys got pretty well taken care of last year.
  11. I think sip and doc had chatted the day before. Also in the radio interview Doc mentioned his mom passed in February. That could help explain some of the body language, too. I don’t think I had heard that before listening to that conversation.
  12. I mean, sure, but it also doesn't matter at all... To roughly paraphrase @Norm Peterson the changes will either work or they won't.
  13. Maybe this will be the year fans have to race back from the Big Ten title game for tip-off. One can dream, right?
  14. I mean, that's been the pretty standard placement for that game before last year for at least a decade.
  15. Neither, they'd both be preferred. Bring them in with the opportunity to earn a scholarship.
  16. Couldn't hurt. Make it a preferred spot, while they're at it.
  17. Hoiberg in his presser said he thought he'd be able to play Walker and Kieta at the same time at times next year.
  18. Last two games of the tournament were great!
  19. They were good in eFG%, 2% and 3% in the Sun Belt, though. Looks like they caused a lot of turnovers, too.
  20. I'm going to win one of these contests someday...
  21. Prob about as good as you could have hoped for, considering the source
  22. CJ. Hopefully Sam. Some of the recruits come in with that rep, but that remains to be seen.
  23. That's true. Kieta's supposed to have something of a mid-range game, right? Maybe that could be used in that situation. And yeah, Wilhelm getting healthy and finding his shot would be a huge boost, too. Either way, front court depth is a luxury we haven't seen here in a while.
