  1. If you can put more structure around Matt, I'd be ok with him sticking around. Maybe that's one of the changes. Give him a shopping list, don't put him on supermarket sweep.
  2. I’d we have 3 spots, I’d love another dead eye shooter to pair with wilcher
  3. That was Loesner, I believe. He's been a lot more active on the recruiting front, especially locally.
  4. Let's assume Bryce leaves as everyone expects. What's his legacy? He seems to have done every single thing right...except the team didn't win games. There are a ton of stories like this from his time year. Had they had the year everyone was expecting back in November, he'd be a legend. Now...?
  5. I find it interesting that so many think Keon has one foot out the door.
  6. Yeah, Gary Sharp's mentioned it several times on his show. I don't think there's been an official announcement, though. He's mentioned it will be early, like game two or three.
  7. Sounds like Crean is going to be out at Georgia, too?
  8. At least two teams on NU's schedule will have new coaches next year: UNO and KState
  9. Life necessitated I be elsewhere during all but the end of the game. Looks like that might have been ok. Maybe that's a fitting way for it all to end. Now, we see what the changes are...
  10. Easley looked a lot leaner than he did while he was here. At NU, he still looked like a football player. He looks like he's turned into basketball shape since he left.
  11. Feel free to interpret however seems appropriate. I do believe they had enough talent to not be playing tomorrow.
  12. I don't have time to do it right now, but I'd be curious to see what the 2pt shooting numbers are...
  13. Since the Kansas St. game, NU is shooting .380 as a team from 3. If they'd have found that pace earlier in the season, they'd be a top 15 shooting team from 3. If you take out the Kennesaw St. game where they went 15/28, they'd at .368, which would still be top 40. I think that's a jump you could see them make next season.
  14. Is it really that hard to believe? He was struggling to make the transition, making weird decisions on the court, not really making up for on defense and after a ton of build up and expectations, they are losing game after game and he was at the center of a lot of it. It seems natural to me that people would want him to sit.
  15. Wisconsin: Purdue (3), Maryland (64), Northwestern (53), Nebraska (162) Illinois: Iowa (22), Minnesota (68), Nebraska (156) Iowa: Ohio State (17), Nebraska (181), Michigan (29) Michigan State: Minnesota (89), Northwestern (39), Wisconsin (24) Nebraska: Penn St (81), Ohio State (23), Wisconsin (26) Parentheses is KenPom ranking at time of game.
  16. Trivia question: this season, four Big Ten teams other than Nebraska have won three consecutive conference road games. Can you name them? I'll post them answers in an hour.
  17. No, he's not the GOAT. He's had a great stretch, but he struggled to figure out his role for almost 2/3 of the season. If he were a freshman or sophomore and had another couple of years to build off of this season, I think that would change the conversation. If he goes on a tear and they go on an improbably run this week, maybe it's one of the greatest stretches of all time, but I don't think you can consider him as one of the greats of the program. If you bring in a player that has a background of being a point guard, especially one in an high tempo offense, that learning curve should be lessened. But yes, I'd LOVE to see them recruit a long term PG. Maybe Lloyd or McPherson could learn it and have several years to really cement the role, but finding Hoiberg's Glynn Watson would be a really nice development for the program.
  18. Maybe that motivates Bryce to come back and wreak havoc on the B1G next year?
  19. lol, I did get a good chuckle out of that
  20. Anybody stumble upon any good Wisconsin radio segments today?
  21. I did. Listened for it. Both had made it to the lane and were starting to go up. Trey, looked to me, to pull back when he registered there was a whistle but it was too late to pull back completely. Felt the F1 would have been appropriate, not an F2.
  22. HOLY SH...!!! That was one of the grittiest, grinding win I've ever seen a Nebraska team get. Unreal to pull this one out today!
  23. 1. No, they didn't. He took several steps before the whistle blew, he was already in the lane. Both were on their way up and it looked to me like Trey tried to pull back. He probably should have gotten an F1 for the play, but the F2 was excessive, I think. 2. But if they called the foul on the trip, then sure, that makes sense it wasn't a travel.
