A 3:32 minute clip and it is all music ...What would Mr. Hardwick do? Limp? -
Good for Dougie...that's funny!

You are the first pimp I have known of that would allow one of his women to have a baby! Add to that, you are not even upset about something being stolen from you. Hallelujah! You have been cured and reformed... Perhaps you should now be known as SaintMario! May you and your family enjoy this transformation in life. Congratulations!

I believe the rule that if you are in one of these exempt bracketed tournaments, you can schedule a 4th game (outside the brackets) with another team in the tournament that you are not originally scheduled to play. So, under the always logical rules of the NCAA, it is technically a tournament game that doesn't count against your game maximum...WTF? As always...logic prevails.

Game Day Essentials: Game #1 vs Northern Kentucky
trickey replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Prediction: Nebraska 68 - Baylor 63 Dimes... You missed a spot! Now that you have played Russian historian with the post...nobody will understand WTF I was talking about. PS I hope this prediction is better than the last...I need some Runzas. -
I was channel surfing, however, when I watched this game the shooting % appeared to be more a factor of the Wisconsin defense rather than a joke of a Norse offense. Wisky looked very good on D... Actually, Creighton also looked better than I expected this early in the year! (I am not trying to imply Wisky class mind you...but they looked better than the prophecies of 8th in their league.)

Is he still slowed by the hernia injury from July...or something new?

Use the advance edit option and you can do this yourself as you started the topic.

OK...I really go off topic here...but this is a slow day compared to yesterday and your post reminded me of an OLD Dawgs joke...that I first heard back in the 70's. So for those that did not get to live through the undefeated '70 and '71 seasons...and perhaps have never seen The Graduate or Clockwork Orange...here is my friend Mike's joke #23. A rural Georgian takes an out-of-towner to his first game between the hedges. During a break in the action, the Georgian is pointing out some of the traditions surrounding them. Eventually he points out UGA (the Georgia bulldog), who soon starts lickin' his private parts. The newbie starts laughing and says "Gosh, I all ways wished I could do that!" The Georgian replies with an incredulous drawl... "That dawg would bite Yooouuu!"

Reading between the lines...I believe the availability issue comes from the B1G offering to commit to a yearly deal for the tournament to be held in Omaha. Yet, Creighton has first right of refusal due to their multiple seasons contract, as they are the main occupants of the stadium until the real show comes to town. I imagine CU talked to their new league about anchoring their BE tournament here in Omaha...and they were rebuffed as the league did not want to reward this newcomer with a prize so huge! I believe the BE committed to 2017 and they suggested they would be in for perhaps every other year after that...but they wanted to think about it....(Cue the smiling faces of the MECA board)! How far out the CU contract goes...I do not know...yet I imagine the next time it is negotiated the post season tournament weekend will be much more hotly contested! Cue the lawyers!

New guy, same avatar. If somebody else shows up with my avatar... My dog's got some "splainin' to do"!

Please note...in Omaha my cable guide and newspaper tell me it is 11 PM. Don't miss the first half hour!

Shavon, Kale, and the reliability of Rivals 150

Norm, Is this "more to follow..." split, just a ploy to get your post count up with the big boys? -
Thanks to my father for his service Okinawa and the other various islands leading to the occupation of Japan after the war...for putting up with the injuries after his service was over...but mostly for coming back and begetting me! And to my Uncle Jack, who never had those opportunities after giving his all in the Battle of the Bulge. And to my friends that served in Korea and Nam and every other veteran that served anywhere for my protection.

Coach Miles to CBS Sports this morning: http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/eye-on-college-basketball/24795326/huskers-miles-hopes-to-have-pf-smith-acl-back-in-mid-january The best part: "We're hoping to have him ready in mid-January, about a week or two into Big Ten play," Miles said of the 6-8, 255 pound Smith, who averaged 5.4 points and 4.8 rebounds last season. "We're hoping to get him live in practice soon and just take it from there."

Just curious, what about the other non-conf teams? Part of Ken Pom's site is free to all. I am far too lazy to look them all up for you...but they are available here: http://kenpom.com/
