  1. He doesn't have to commit/sign on May 18th.....hell, I believe he could take all summer if he really wanted to. He would just need to enroll before the fall. With that said, I bet we know his decision by the end of the month. It's probably not good news for us that he has not made a decision, on the other hand...being how quiet recruiting is right now maybe our coaches feel pretty good about their changes with Jordy. This...we have three open scholarships if AWIII leaves. I think we would be hearing something about other players/transfers, etc. So maybe (hopefully) the silence means our coaches have this under control...while I go insane. Well then, I imagine this did nothing to soothe your concerns:
  2. Jason's 90 foot buzzer-beater and short interview:
  3. And we worry whether a two brother package is too much to commit!
  4. I noticed these former Huskers are playing on the same Dutch team and they appear to be in the league 7 game series championship round. The below articles are in Dutch: Game 1 https://www.oogtv.nl/2016/04/donar-verliest-eerste-duel-tegen-leiden/ Jason scored 13 and Lance 16 in a loss. Both took last second 3 point shots to try to tie the game but missed. Game 2 http://www.gic.nl/sport/donar-trekt-de-stand-gelijk-in-halve-finale-wereldscore-jason-dou Jason hit a 3 point buzzer beater before the half in the win that tied the series. Jason scored 13 again. The article does not mention Lance's points. There is a current picture of the team with both of them included. Game 3 is Thursday.
  5. Is this a real deal; or more likely is this Ed photo-shoppping a joke? Either way, why wouldn't he want to come play with his buddy?
  6. I helped you out. Nobody wants a dead messenger.
  7. Not necessarily true that any settlement would mean culpability or fault on NU or CY. If it is a large amount that certainly would be true. \However, sometimes it is easier to settle for small change than drag out for an extra year or more of legal wrangling (and cheaper). It could perhaps also depend on how much the parties want to stand on principle.
  8. Well, nobody will confuse you with a Norman Vincent Peale disciple on this one! Perhaps it should be your job while you are watching to show at his games wearing scarlet, cream and the block N. And bring the little Kamdy Man.
  9. "He is 6 feet 8 inches tall, so he is literally big. He is Inupiaq, Hawaiian, Filipino and white; that’s definitely Barrow right there. And he is already dominating the entirety of Alaska high school basketball -- including larger and more historic basketball programs in Anchorage, Juneau and Fairbanks -- despite just turning 15 a few days ago."
  10. Dimes, I agree with most all of what you posted...yet, please explain why you see Gill as a 4th backup behind Watson/Gill/Webster instead of higher.
  11. Unfortunately you're not the only person I've seen make that suggestion, and they've been dead-serious :/ jcsidibe23, welcome to the board! Post often. Yet, noting your new posting status , I will warn you: this board can be very cryptic. I haven't taken any of the messengers that posted about Geno as having been serious. Often, you need to have an understanding of the posters. There are many inside jokes and references (and a few trolls). Thanks for being here and caring.
  12. I believe that would be Kansas in 2008.
  13. Dimes, Since you can tell when somebody is posting from Kentucky, can you tell if goofy here comes from the same ip address as central and the other past trolls? Isn't it time goofer is moved out to pasture with his central et al. alter egos? If you can block him, at least then the troll would have to find another neighbor to skim Wi-Fi from.
  14. Here you go Jimmy: http://journalstar.com/ap/sports/wristband-symbolizes-strong-bond-ku-s-wayne-selden-has-with/article_7c24a869-1299-53e4-ae38-98f7c0ec2f52.html
  15. Bob Huggins just phoned in and wanted me to relay that it is not nearly that rare! Nor were we the first. In the 14 vs. 3 matchups... There have been twenty-one 14 seeds that have defeated 3 seeds in the first round: Year Winner Loser Score 2016 Stephen F. Austin West Virginia 70-56 2015 Georgia State Baylor 57-56 2015 UAB Iowa State 60-59 2014 Mercer Duke 78-71 2013 Harvard New Mexico 68-62 2010 Ohio Georgetown 97-83 2006 Northwestern State Iowa 64-63 2005 Bucknell Kansas 64-63 1999 Weber State North Carolina 76-74 1998 Richmond South Carolina 62-61 1997 Chattanooga Georgia 73-70 1995 Old Dominion Villanova 89-81 (3OT) 1995 Weber State Michigan State 79-72 1992 East Tennessee State Arizona 87-80 1991 Xavier Nebraska 89-84 1990 Northern Iowa Missouri 74-71 1989 Siena Stanford 80-78 1988 Murray State NC State 78-75 1987 Austin Peay Illinois 68-67 1986 Cleveland State Indiana 83-79 1986 Arkansas-Little Rock Notre Dame 90-83
  16. good for him. i'm still glad we ended up with white, mcveigh, and roby instead. Actually, we wound up with Nick Fuller and Nathan Hawkins instead. but does andrew white still transfer here if Sai is starting at small forward? the main point is that i don't think we missed out on much with Sai... except for Tai and Sai puns. lol...sai isn't starting at Hawaii so Andrew White's decision making process wouldn't have had Sai as part of the equation. I didn't post this because I was regretting Sai not coming here...just came across his name researching for my poor tourney picks. For what it's worth, here are Sal's stats from HU's win today: RESULT MIN FGM-FGA FG% 3PM-3PA 3P% FTM-FTA FT% REB AST BLK STL PF TO PTS W 77-66 11 2-3 .667 1-2 .500 0-0 .000 1 0 0 1 4 2 5
  17. This article: http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/mens-basketball/transfer-s-key-to-offseason-work-for-miles-huskers/article_4ee9284e-0f4a-5085-9f7a-6772bf1bf952.html has a retrospective of last year's pursuit of several big men in an interview with Miles and more importantly an advertisement for tons of big man playing time when Miles said: "We need a center, and we need to get one signed here late that can be the center point for our offense, our defense and be one of those guys that anchors what we do.” Hopefully, Jordy and Mr. Unknown Transfer (to me) are listening. Come be THE MAN!
  18. NU 68 mu 67 Letting my heart pick again tonight.
  19. NU 66 wu 65 Since I am way out of any season race, I let my heart wish this one with Glenn hitting a runner in the final seconds for the win.
  20. Well...assume may not be the appropriate verb in this instance!
  21. NU 68 pu 71 PLEASE prove me wrong!
  22. Several more rounds of NyQuil and all will be well... Until you wake up.
