Coach Erstead played a little baseball and was the punter on the 94 team. Those are the 2 that immediately come to my mind. yes...but when did they play basketball. We have had Football players transition to Basketball...and looking and yours...we have had football/Baseball crossovers. I was talking Baseball to Basketball. It is not us v. cu. ...if it was...we are in. The reality is it is us v. the field. Any time a team can qualify that otherwise, would not, but for their winning a tournament,..they could take one spot from the at large field. creighton might still get in... X never had a chance. Although, if the jays get in and NU does not, some members needs to quit the committee.

Just got home from the game. Wonderful day, atmosphere, pitching, etc. for senior day. This was the most dominant pitching series I recall in quite some time. Several good weekends in a row. And so is there another version of the interview where the coach hints that we are after him? Because I didn't hear that at all. I sure hope he was talking about stiff competition; because I do not think coach's conception descriptions would go over well in Lincoln; much less the stiff action.
