it's not even that we're that bad of a team, but having to play an extra 2 games than the top 4 teams is what makes it nearly impossible for us to win.

i agree. vegas sounds a lot more fun than the cbi tourney.

i was hoping iowa would get the 3 seed, otherwise not a bad draw considering our record. we avoided indiana and purdue. probably the 2 teams that dominated us the most.

i believe their last game was today, so maybe his tune will change now that the season is over. i don't think he would announce the transfer news while their season was still going on.

I have no inside info, but i think at least 1 player transfers which will open up another spot.

we're young and undersized. add a big or 2 and next year could be a different story.

Hammond is not a 4, it would be Jacobson and Morrow. I am thinking there is a back up PG that would be the first to transfer out before Fuller. Get awfully thin at PG if Evelyn leaves. if both bakari and hammond were to leave, we'd have room for 2 bigs and a point guard.

i don't see fuller transferring given that he could become a grad transfer after next year. bakari and hammond would be your likely candidates in my opinion.

if by some chance both Mangok and Jordy want to come here, what happens? oversign and assume somebody transfers?

he was the head coach of a decent D1 team and has chicago ties. any blame on coaching should go on Miles. not molinari. a lot of teams would love molinari as an assistant.

yet people on here constantly compare him to Ubel who was a legit 6'10.

to be fair, what is he suppose to say about the team? back to back losing seasons is never a good look. Miles still has a couple years to straighten things out, and we do have plenty of talent returning. I wouldn't worry about what outside people are saying. Hopefully we actually show up for the big10 tourney and start building for next year.

Miles is pretty bad at picking his spots to get a technical. It makes no sense to get a technical when you're in a close game and your team is playing hard.

but we would have had to break our streak of leaving an open scholarship!

Not sure you can make a prediction until we see what happens in the offseason. we still have an open scholarship, and there is always a chance a player or 2 transfers. we still need 1 more post player for me to really feel good about next year.

there's no point in rushing him back... or ed for that matter. Conference tourney is our only shot at this point, so hopefully they'll be back by then.

indiana now with 22 free throw attemps vs our 4. that's insanely lopsided.

Nahhh... I am good with one. We have Jacobson and Ed who can both give him a breather. AGREE!! jacobson and ed have not been able to guard true centers all year. i'd like to get a guy like jordy and a juco/transfer with some experience. i'd say a combo guard that can shoot would be our next priority.

all i know is we are getting destroyed inside. I think we need at least 2 more bigs 6'9+ to really compete next year. I know norm wants another shooter, but i think you just have to hope anton is that guy and start looking for Bigs. depending if there is a transfer or transfers, then maybe there'd also be room for another shooter.
