    jordy's only competition here would be 2 6'8 power forwards (jacobson/morrow) i have to think he will at least visit us given our big man situation and how long we've been recruiting him

    i'd be ok with this addition. a former top 100 player that didn't get much playing time on a very good miami team. tai and white are both seniors, so we are going to need guards.

    when you consider the fact that we've never even won an ncaa tournament game, 300-1 seems like terrible odds to bet on. 1000-1 might get my attention.

    My thoughts exactly. I choose not to speculate on all the other stuff but hope that we don't lose players as a result of this. umm... aren't the players + assistant coaches the one's who wanted her gone? at least that's the way the article makes it sound.

    it's kind of annoying how every announcer/media person acts like buddy hield came out of nowhere. he was a 4 star recruit that had offers from 20 high level schools. i get that he struggled as a freshman, but he's always had the talent.

    it's shockingly good. you would not have guessed it by watching him play. hopefully he figures out how to put that athleticism on display next year.

    i feel like jake could put up 10 and 10 on a team like uno but was just physically overmatched in the big 10. a redshirt year for jake could really help him.

    not very surprising. got benched for a freshman and also had grade issues. he's also no stranger to transferring. played at 3 different high schools.

    won't get excited about the offseason until something actually happens. last year's offseason consisted of whiffing on edwards and bielfeldt, signing bakari, and leaving an open scholarship. we can't afford to have another offseason like last year's.

    Same program but feel his game, body type, etc reminds me more of this former Spartan. I'd take it. I'd take that in a heartbeat. Now, if only Jeriah's last name was Red. curious what jeriah's wingspan is. draymond has 7'1.25 wingspan which allows him to play basically any position on the court.

    lets see how things play out. there's going to be a million transfers in the upcoming weeks. I would be very surprised if we don't land at least 1 big guy.

    good for him. i'm still glad we ended up with white, mcveigh, and roby instead. Actually, we wound up with Nick Fuller and Nathan Hawkins instead. but does andrew white still transfer here if Sai is starting at small forward? the main point is that i don't think we missed out on much with Sai... except for Tai and Sai puns.

    Morrow is in line for a lot more minutes next year. shields is gone and morrow will hopefully be 100% healthy. I don't see why he'd leave. I think he has a legit chance to start at the 4.

    how did the Mathiang rumor start? the journal star wrote an article about him, so there had to have been some indication to him coming here, right? i can't imagine journal star writing an article because of a rumor on a message board.

    the real question is... should we add a big like jordy that may need a year or 2 of development, or bring in a grad transfer that gives us 12 and 7 for 1 year?

    just a reminder that they have a play-clock at every HS football game in nebraska. it would not be hard to implement. it's one thing for teams to start stalling with 2-3 minutes left, but i saw several games where teams began stalling at the start of the 4th quarter.
