i think the point of the article was that lue deserves more attention from the university. He rarely comes back to Nebraska despite being one of the best players to ever play here and hugely successful in the nba.
-
lue is probably one of the most respected figures in the nba right now, and i'm guessing 99% of nba fans have no idea he went to Nebraska. His jersey should absolutely be in the rafters.

nba champion as a coach and player.

2017 PF David Wingett -> Memphis -> S. Dakota St
FredsSlacks replied to AuroranHusker's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
That report to me, sounds like a recent former Husker commit Keanu Pinder. An offensive enigma of sorts but a defensive stalwart. luckily we don't need aguek to play right away. i feel like he has a ways to go to be a contributor in the big 10. i would say his best case scenario would be ade dagunduro. they're both undersized small forwards. -

Arop finished with 0 and 2 points. that's a bit concerning -

this is off topic, but who was the last D1 player from Lincoln? i can't think of any in the last 5 years unless i'm missing someone. -
i hope we use the last scholarship for this year. our guard depth is a little thin, and we might need another post player if Jordy isn't ready from day 1. with white back, i think we have a real chance to make the tourney. i don't see any reason to leave the last spot open unless there's absolutely nobody else available that can help us for the upcoming season.

So, next year's starting lineup.

C- Jacobson. would be surprised if Jordy starts. think he's going to have to learn a lot in a short amount of time. PF- Morrow. there's realistically 3 other players that could start here, but morrow is probably the favorite. SF White. SG Gill. if gill struggles, webster could end up starting here PG- Watson. -

it's honestly not that bad. it's just that we badly need a big guy and this might be our only chance for a while. i don't think you can knock a kid for wanting to take more than 2 official visits. -

miles has left open a scholarship every year since he became coach. why are there people worried about link taking up a spot for 2 years? -

we absolutely should take both if necessary. there are no other 4 star or top 150 recruits that we have a shot at for the upcoming season. At the risk of getting caught up on unimportant details, I don't think Jordy is a 4-star or top-150 recruit. I believe he's a composite 3-star and composite unranked unless we are cherry picking from various recruiting services. More importantly, has he said anything about wanting to go somewhere with his half brother? Or is our angst on that issue conjecture? Without researching, I don't think they went to the same high school. this is good enough for me to consider him a 4 star: http://www.scout.com/player/192771-jordy-tshimanga https://future150.com/hs/basketball-profiles/jordy-tsimanga-c-2016 -

should we really be worried about unlv? they weren't even in his top 3 schools 5 hours ago. now they're the school to beat? -

i don't know what to think any more. this would be an huuge miss if we don't land jordy. we offered him 2 years ago, and minny/okyst offered him 3 months ago. -

Petteway should have stayed... there's no way he would have left if he had known he would go undrafted. unless a team is promising to draft white in the 2nd round, he should stay too. -
AW-III IS BACK FOR HIS SENIOR SEASON (SOMEWHERE)
FredsSlacks replied to AuroranHusker's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
all i know is the d-league is rough. you get about 15k a season to start and have to pay for your own food and other expenses. seth curry had to win d-league mvp 2 years in a row just to get a minimum deal with the Kings. i would not be in a hurry to leave unless a few teams are promising to draft him in the 2nd round. -

this tweet does not make it seem like he'll be back. but it also doesn't say he's officially leaving. pretty confusing. -

not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but who wouldn't take a free weekend trip to vegas? -
here's a crazy thought: Lewis chose to come here because nebraska is going to pay him more money than butler.

FredsSlacks replied to AuroranHusker's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
not getting invited to the combine tells me he'll probably be back for his senior year. white could easily play himself into a 2nd round pick if he improves on his numbers from last year.
