I hope not as already have my hotel reservations and was planning a road trip to KC. But agree, most likely it probably will be canceled and they will be asked to be part of this tournament instead.

2022 F Isaac Traudt - Virginia->Creighton

It's not always about just being the first to offer a scholarship. -
Nebraska football fans are the whiniest people on the face of the planet. I've never heard anyone complain about hard their schedule is more than NU fans do. The teams in the East Division has to play way more difficult schedule. Who cares if you have to play Ohio State first, last, or ever, just shut up and play. As a player, you love a schedule like this but the NU fans want a cupcake schedule to try and finally get more wins. Don't want to earn it by getting better, want to have it handed to you by playing easier opponents. It's not the job of other teams on the conference to get worse, it's your job to get better. Fans make it sound like the Big 10 sits around all day and just try to think of ways to screw Nebraska. If you are one of the people that actually believe that, I can't help you.

2023 F Gus Yalden -> Wisconsin
kldm64 replied to Navin R. Johnson's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
College kids get away with it as well but NBA is really bad. Makes it impossible to guard anyone when you can just carry the ball and blow by your defender. If they aren't going to call it, then they need to allow hand checking to help the defender and keep it fair. So hard to play defense anymore as way to much advantage goes to offense. -

It's amazing to me how much kids carry the ball now and it's never called. Could never get away with that when I played. -
He was in the office building across from the penitentiary for most his career. He was on road construction crew and truck survey work earlier in his career.

Congrats on your retirement. My dad worked for State Dept. of Road for 50 years and then retired.

I'd say 7-4

2021 SG Hunter Sallis ->Gonzaga->Wake Forest
kldm64 replied to AuroranHusker's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
Hunter is a very solid talent but based on the times I've seen him play, I don't buy it that he is the 11th best player in the country. I would love to see him at NU but unless he wants to play close to home, he will hitch his wagon to a school that competes for National Championships. Hopefully that will be Nebraska someday soon with Fred in charge. -
So true and now I'm disappointed if sign someone who isn't a Rivals top 150 guy.

Probably because it's not a revenue generating sport. And here I thought the NCAA was there for all student athletes.......

uneblinstu's postgame chatter: vol 11; ed 31 - Iowa
kldm64 replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Let's be honest, the longer Miles is out of coaching, the harder it will be for him to land a Power 5 head coaching job. If he goes 2 seasons without being in coaching, the more likely it is he will land at a mid major school. I think we are all pulling for Tim as he is the coach who made it cool to be a NU basketball fan. However, there are coaching like Craig Smith who might get a shot at a power five school before Miles will again. Pretty ironic huh. -

If he is holding out for another P5 job, he will be in the booth for a long time. -

If Fred lands this kid, you might as well start building a statue of him outside PBA. -
What do you say we reach out to Joe Pridgen?

Kevin Cross is leaving NU after 1 season and entering the transfer portal

Maybe they realized he isn't worth the headache to deal with either.

The series will begin on December 19, 2020, with a neutral-site matchup at the Sprint Center in Kansas City before shifting to campus sites the following two seasons. The Wildcats will make their first-ever appearance at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Dec. 18, 2021, while the Huskers will visit Bramlage Coliseum on Dec. 17, 2022, to conclude the series.

Got it. I mis-read it and made myself confused. This working from home just throws everything off. Thanks
-
Aren't both games being played at the Sprint Center? So both games would be neutral site games
-
Because he doesn't want any competition and wanted to be an automatic starter. He didn't like it that Fred recruited another player for his position as well. He would have played a lot next season but Nebraska will be just fine without him.
-
What Fred did to upset him was recruit Teddy Allen.
