Seems like a reoccurring theme now for Ohio St. Getting blown out on the road by a lesser foe. Too bad they couldn't save that type of performance for us.

Plz dont give us a 1-loss Ohio State. I dont want Urban Meyer trying to prove a point against us while we are just starting to build confidence and momentum ???

This season is simply about building and enjoying the progress. Sucks we have left some wins out there but it is what it is. We will have a dynamic trio on offense next year with Martinez, Spielman, and Washington. It will be fun to watch them grow. I dont think Michigan State or Iowa is gonna want anything to do with us by the end of the year.

I look forward to someone with more basketball knowledge than me breaking this kid down.

I graduate in December and already have a job in my field starting in January which means when we make our tourney run I will have PTO. So yes, i am ready.

It is kind of funny to think back on that. Mike Riley had us at 7-0 in playoff contention going into Wisconsin. Which i believe was a close loss, right?

I think he is almost back to full speed. He is only feeling pain/discomfort when he decelerates/breaks but getting going isnt an issue.

Yes, I wasnt really including ND when thinking of the ACC. Big 12 has two legitimate contenders in Texas and Oklahoma and a fringe one in West Virginia. ACC has Clemson and not much else (does anyone really believe in NC State or Duke to finish with one loss or less AND win the conference? I dont.) Pac 12 has a fringe contender in Oregon but nothing else after that (see what I said about NC St/Duke for Colorado and Wash St.) But they are much deeper than the ACC in my opinion.

Dont we already have an undersized forward in the class with Akol Arop? Do we want two... in the same class? Unless this is a shift in recruiting philosophy and playing style?

Id say ACC is the worst P5. Its funny that the AAC is by far the best G5 conference and prob better than most years of Big East football (which was an auto bid conference at the time).

For a couple years i have been doing my own little rankings of CFP contenders. I like to start after week 7. It usually gives you enough games to start seeing who teams are while still having some unknowns with about half the season stilk being left to play out. I thought i would share em with all of you. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think. In the rankings i only include teams who are undefeated and one loss P5 teams. Aka teams with a chance to make the playoffs. (No two loss team has made it... yet) I consider wins over .500 or better P5 teams, wins over G5 teams who have winning record, and losses if applicable. I also consider who you opponents have beat. Im just poking fun. Frost inherited a mess. But hes also a very young coach with a young staff (sometimes i think the 13-0 season make ppl forget this is only his THIRD season as a HC) who have made some mistakes that have cost us a win, maybe two. The promising thing is that I believe Scott will get the right guys in here and i think he is a humble enough guy that he will reflect and improve upon himself as well.

G: Glynn Watson G: James Palmer F: Shavon Shields F: Isaac Copeland F: Isaiah Roby He wouldnt start over Roby or Cope but you could play big and slide Palmer to the two gaurd and Shavon in on the wing/small forward position. It would give you an NBA size lineup almost.

I think Shavon could start for us this year.

That has been my latest prediction. With Thomas Allen as the first guy of the bench
