Just out of curiosity, who on this board is in favor of an 8-team playoff?
-
Who ever we get they need to be able to contribute immediately. Ideally i would like a freshman and a grad transfer big to throw in with Roby (hopefully!), Brady, and Akol.

uneblinstu’s postgame chatter: vol 11, ed 3 - Seton Hall
khoock replied to uneblinstu's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Outside of our Fab Four we got the following: - 12 pts - 18 reb - 1 asst 2 stl 1 blk - 3 TO 8 PF Not bad. Were prob gonna want a couple more buckets. But i was pleased with the other players. Tanner and Brady banged around inside and both made a couple nice plays. I feel much better about them being able to combine for 15 min a game if needed. Amir did a nice job rebounding and making some disruptive plays. Tom didnt shoot well overall but made some key shots. Nana was alright, seemed to play solid on the defensive end which is his biggest concern. -

Palmer starts 0-8 and Roby only plays 14 minutes. We win by 20+. The big four will carry us but i was definitely pleased with the play of Tanner and Brady! -

Man Glynn is looking good. And i love the fire and energy he is bringing. He wants to leave here with a legacy, no doubt. -

Is this the same injury Anton Gill had? If so, his was much later and he was back in time for the next season. Or was Gill's his patella?

Just to go a little deeper into my thoughts: - Clemson: stuck with them at number one bc they have been just as dominant as Alabama over the past few weeks and have a slightly better collection of wins. - Alabama: been dominant all season but aside from LSU all of the other teams they have beaten have a minimum of 4 losses. However, they have a chance to pass Clemson bc of a marquee SEC championship matchup. Whereas Clemson will likely face a 4 or 5 loss team in the ACC championship. - Notre Dame: aside from week 1 they havent beaten a great team. Not for lack of effort (not their fault Stanford, USC, and VT are all down this year). They have two wins over P5 divisional champs (Northwestern and Pitt) and host a Syracuse team that will be ranked in the top 12 this weekend. - Michigan: has the best loss of any contenders and a trio of solid, dominating wins (Penn St, Wisconsin, and Mich St). Add in a win over the Buckeyes and I dont see them getting left out. - Georgia: got blown out at LSU while Bama went to LSU and spanked em. So doesnt look good on paper. Solid collection of wins against Florida, Auburn, and Kentucky but those wins have taken hits the last two weeks. If they win out they will get in. - Washington State: a solid collection of wins but no marquee wins and a bad loss to USC. They need Washington and Utah to win out before beating them and some upsets from the teams above to have a chance. - Ohio State: a pair of good road wins against Penn State and Michigan State. But a bad loss to Purdue. If they win out they prob get in based off of brand but imo definitely need a lot of help - Oklahoma and West Virginia: both teams have wins over the team that beat the other (Texas and Iowa State) if that makes sense. Other than that not much that is impressive. - UCF: resume has gotten better with Pitt, Temple, and Memphis all at 6-4. But Houston and USF faltering down the stretch eliminates any chance for UCF

1. Clemson 10-0 2. Alabama 10-0 3. Notre Dame 10-0 4. Michigan 9-1 5. Georgia 9-1 6. Washington State 9-1 7. Ohio State 9-1 8. Oklahoma 9-1 9. West Virginia 8-1 10. UCF 9-0 - Clemson and Bama are neck and neck - Notre Dame is comfortably at three with Georgia and Michigan fighting for that last spot - Washington State is on an island. Safely ahead of the bottom group of contenders (for now) but not threatening to pass anyone ahead of them - That bottom group is all prettt close with a mixture of bad losses or lacking marquee wins

Tanner and Nana both seem to be firmly in the rotation. Both were the first two players of the bench in our two games thus far. Also, neither of them played the end of the games either (Costello, Trueblood, Amir, Thor, and Brady)

2018 G Xavier Johnson - Decommit to Pitt
khoock replied to ajb5856's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
I believe he attempted a 3 against Wayne St and missed. Even though it doesnt technically count. -
What does Palmer have to do with their playing time? Jacobson/Morrow spent a majority of their career playing at center and probably would still be doing.
-
So trying to figure out the rotation ill just leave some takeaways from game one: - Tanner was first off the bench, followed by Nana/Thor, and then Amir/Brady - Thor and Brady played the most minutes off the bench (21), followed by Amir (18), and Tanner and Nana (13) - Thor, Amir, and Brady were the players that the walk ons were plugged in with to play at the very end My guess is Nana and Tanner are in the top 7 rn. Amir and Thor are still competing for the eight spot in the rotation. As for Brady, I could see the rotation being extended to 9 guys if he proves that he can regularly help this team.

Tre'shawn Thurman still hasnt figured out how to play defense without fouling. 5 fouls in 21 min

I kinda lumped all the Summit League kids together just bc there seems to be so many.
