  1. Sounds like that's a good plan. The videos show she has real good basic skills, and is pretty agile, and versatile all over the court. Another 3 shooter from the 3 position (a Yori/Grace has mentioned) If it works out, it will take some pressure off the inside, and make the other defense have to cover more of the floor. Her height could be a huge advantage at the 3 slot. From other articles and posts indicate she hasen't played lots of higher level "club" play. May take some time to get up to the speed of college play. But great family history. Love those Kansas kids ! She had a nice clear out on her first bucket. Put her defender in the cheap seats. We call those the "Norm seats" here. Knocked her clean into Section 707, then?

  2. Tris is down to USD and SDSU after I talked to him the other night. He'll be a great fit for either team but would be cool to see him play for coach Smith

  3. Grace Mitchell commits to Nebraska this afternoon. Grace is a 6'2 wing who played for Derby High School in Derby, Kansas last season and by all accounts will play for Wellington her senior season. Wellington is located just south of Wichita. Averaged 17.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game her junior season. HHC welcomes Grace and we hope her senior season is one of her best. She picked the Huskers from 12 other Division 1 offers. She becomes the 4th commit in the 2016 class. More info to be posted when found.

  4. It looks like Horne is going to hold off committing anywhere until he visits. Was worried about KSU and ISU. Good news for us...really hope we can land him. Really hope we can get Roby in town as well. Would be great to get him there to work on Horne more and build the rapport.

  5. Did you guys know this was the third thread we had on Jordy? It took me until today to remember he was the other center we offered back in 2014 when we offered Schnider Herard

  7. I think that, that would not suck. I really like the Horne kid. Sounds like a thicker Morrow. At least I see them as that kid that is just a tiny bit nasty. Not dirty but will not back down from the older bigger guys. Maybe that is just me though.

  8. Here is a report on Horne from the same article: On the opening night of camp, when all eyes were on five-star forward Thon Maker vs. five-star center Deandre Ayton on court one, Horne was quietly dazzling on court two. He posted 20 points and 13 rebounds, and announced after the game he was ready to break out. Sure enough, he finished every game this week with double-digit point totals, and nearly led his team to the championship Friday afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
