    Henry Ellenson

Here is a June 11 Rivals report on Ellenson--note the "five-star" reference at the end: CURRENT RANK: 56 How many big guys have shown more improvement than Ellenson? He has very good size, is a good athlete and rebounds at a very good clip. The biggest change for Ellenson has been markedly improved mobility and conditioning and there just aren't many bigs who can run with him for an entire game. His motor is non-stop and he has very good skill. He does settle for a few too many deep jumpers at times, but he looks like a safe bet for five-star status. If Ellenson is actually looking seriously at the Huskers, this development is a sign of huge progress by Tim Miles & Co. on the recruiting front.

    In state kids?

Such a high ceiling why? Because he's tall? He has a "high ceiling" because he picked Krayton. Duh. Mind you his zero offers and lack of interest from just about anybody on the D 1 level. But his ceiling is just so darn "high." Lmao! Nebraska grabs this kid and Krayton fans talk about how marginal of a pickup he is. Krayton lands him on their lonesome and he just so happens to have an oh so "high" ceiling. Gotta love it. Granted I've only seem the kid play once but his game is ugggllllyyyyy. Maybe he will improve greatly but it's a big reach this early in the process.

    In state kids?

Not sure why Jay-backers feel the necessity for up-talking Patton on this Nebrasketball board. But here are a couple observation on the subject: 1. Looks like Tim Miles will let the Jays have this one without even the slightest competitive effort; and 2. A couple old adages appear to be pertinent here: (a) "You pay your money and take your chances," and ( "The hallmark of insecurity is bravado."

  8. Reports say a disgruntled scream could be heard in Omaha coming from the east Wednesday afternoon. Later that night the whereabouts of the scream were pen-pointed and it was said to originate from the women's basketball office in Iowa City shortly after finding out NU landed another quality player that will most certainly help in keeping the Huskers win streak alive over their own black and yellow team.
