Get the W today and hopefully take 3 from Loyola...would be a nice start for the homestand.  Anybody go to the game? Official reporting was att. of around 5K....LJS reporting 2800.

Hopefully they can get all the games this weekend...looks like rain in Lincoln.  After last year the power surge we are seeing from the team is welcomed.  Hopefully that continues into conference play.

Great week. Loyola should end up with a decent RPI. Shockers are next but they aren't the Shockers of old.

These next 8 are huge. Shockers and Indian State at home and then Purdue for 3 on the road to start conference play. Right now our overall record is 3rd best in the Big 10. Have to keep taking care of business and can't afford a Purdue series loss.

Baseball is fun to watch when the staff isn't walking guys.  Even Knutsen found the zone today.

 

Ersty/Silva got away with not pitching around Loyola's stud for the 3 run homer.  Especially when the double steal opened up first base.   We did it the prior at bat.  Played with fire here and got blown up.

 

Nice to win with Boldt going 0-5.

 

Ben Miller can just flat out rake.

NU has lost twice this season by 17-5 scores (WSU & San Diego).

And today Nebraska leads late in the ballgame 4-0 over WIchita St.

From 17 walks to a shut out. Roller coaster ride from the pitching staff thus far this year. Need to get the series win tomorrow.

Great job Husker baseball to bounce back from game 1 and take the series!  Pitching did practically a 180* while the hitting came on strong in game 3.  Let's keep it up in Indiana!

Last two games against Wichita State should be the expectation.  That first game though...a real flusher.

Picked up a nice road win today! Huskers needed to go 4-1 or 5-0 on this road trip. Good start.

10-4 score with 15 left on base. Huskers need to drive some (more) runners (left) in & then it'll really be lookin' good for Big Red baseball! GBR
