Michigan(14-5) vs. Nebraska(12-8) Game Thread

Great comeback.  If the 3 effing stooges would call an occasional foul on Michigan in the second half, NU is in great shape.

Can someone please explain to me how they called Walton as being in the act of shooting when Morrow slammed the ball out of bounds?  Shields does the same thing on our end, and they call the foul on the floor.

1. Shields and white have to play better offensively

2. Contest shooters every single time

3. Shut down the pick and roll

4. Attack the rim offensively

5. Rebound

Did better job on no. 5 in second part of the 1st half.

Considering the numbers from three, we're doing awfully well to be in this one.

 

The numbers from 2 offset the numbers from 3.  Michigan is 4-14 from 2.  We are 11-19 from 2 despite shooting 2-12 from 3.  That means we are +18 from 2.  They are 6-11 from 3, after I think they are started, at least 3-4 from 3 when I checked.   That means they we are -12 from 3.  Need to get to the line in the 2nd half, somehow.

I was especially livid when I thought they called the foul on Morrow.  Then that inadvertent whistle cost us getting the ball in the 2nd half, because they couldn't decide who should have the ball, when Jacobson clearly had the ball when he blew the whistle.
