How do some you guys make videos of live game action from the Huskers? I want to make an X's and O's post but I wouldn't know where to start.

I've made a couple of drawings on snaps, not necessarily videos. Most of the videos posted on here have been clipped by someone else, not clipped by a member so that's a different story.

Can you give me an example post so I have a better idea of what you're looking to do?

I hate to admit it, but I saw a post by a guy on the BJU a month or so ago who had small clips showing the flow of a designed play that led to an open (and made) shot.  The hell if I'd be able to find it now (or even want to try looking) but that's something I've seen elsewhere.  Just a snippet clip from a game that showed a play that worked.  The clip was maybe 5 seconds long.

I'd be willing to put together a tutorial for someone as one of my off-season goals that didn't get completed was to put together GIFs like they do at illinoisloyalty.com.

I found the thread I was thinking of at BJU (didn't take long, fortunately) and if you look at the first post of the thread, there are some what I guess are called GIFs that take a clip from some game film obtained somehow from somewhere and you can see what the clip is about.

They call these animated gifs....it basically plays like a movie but basically it's a series of still images clipped together

Speaking of Avery, does anyone know if he has been able to attend any of the MBB games since he is back in Nebraska (last I heard)?  The thought occurred to me it would be nice if he could attend (at least some) home games as a special guest of the Team.

I wanted to do a breakdown of our offense, how others do the same thing but differently, and some thoughts on it. I'm just not a techie unfortunately.!

It's honestly not that hard, especially if you want to do screen captures and you either have video via youtube or else you can access BTN/ESPNonline. Shoot me a PM about it if you want.

In fact, if you wanted to be super quick about it you could make Vines from your phone by recording your TV/Computer Screen

It's incredibly easy if you already have the video you want to make a .gif of.  Or even if you just have a link to the video.
