Yogi "It ain't over till it's over" Berra passed away yesterday.  And now it's over.  On this earth, anyway.

One of my hero's growing up.  I was a catcher and it was Yogi and then Mr. Bench.   RIP Yogi, heaven needed you.

I got to see both Yogi and Mick play against the old KC A's in Municipal Stadium on Brooklyn Avenue. And I would not want to leave out Ted Williams. I wonder what players will be referred to in the same way 50 or 60 years hence? I fear it will be no one since by then Rollerball will probably be the latest fad.

Read that Yogi won like 10 World Series, stormed the beach at Normandy, and was married for 65 years.  I would say that is a life well lived.
