This game was about as weird as it gets. Only 2 weeks until NU is at Ohio State.

Thought we got to passive on offense with about 6-7 mins left on. I seen the potential in Sheilds the last few games, and he showed it even more tonight.

Kind of put into neutral and we are not good enough to do that.

Whew... got a win, that is the main thing. Was really nice to see Shields break out of his shell tonight. He could be one to help as the season progresses!! Did not like that we let JVST back into it, but it is what it is. 7-3 is 7-3 no matter if we won every game by 1 or 100.

Now lets go pick up a couple in Texas before comin back home and beating NicST. Then its on to Ohio State!
