hhcmatt
Just in case you missed it, Nebraska has a couple of Christmas time games vs Jacksonville St on 12/18/12 (Tuesday) and 12/29/12 on (Saturday) where students aren't around and they count on you to fill the student section. Thus, relive your glory, embarrass your significant others, and hang down with the upperclassmen who have their own places as for a couple of nights this year the players will actually be able to hear you cheer them on to victory.Ticket Information here This post has been promoted to an article
Norm Peterson
Hmmm bein' down in the red zone, huh? I wanna yell at the refs. Maybe get kicked out. Have a police escort. How cool would that be? (Just ask Jadler.) Then go out and get a tattoo on my butt and go over to one of the watering holes and tell all the college girls I'm a senior majoring in pre-med. That would just be AWESOME!
Red Rum
Might as well, I already sat down there a couple times this year over Thanksgiving break.

Huskerpapa
I understand this is a necessary evil...yet it is still depressing that even over the break, we cannot find students to fill the red zone. Here is an idea, offer Lincoln Public and Private school students $1 tickets for those games. I think the HS students would bring a bit of excitement to the floor rather than parents, grandparents and others. Just a thought. HS kids are already loud and a little nuts, so they'd fill in pretty well for the real thing.

Have you seen some of those high school games? I feel like they can be rowdier than the Red Zone at times. Plus, that would be a good recruitment too for future UNL students to get excited about Husker Hoops.

Noah121
Will the Red Zone also be somewhat filled with little kids in the Jr. Red Zone, or have they ended that program? Regardless of what the case is, the spot on the band side just behind the basket better be open. I don't want to have to use force to return to my spot! PimpMario
Is the vantage point behind the basket terrible? I have only sat on the sides before.

I am excited for this. speaking of hard hats, I think it would be sweet to see those hard hats they used in the red zone for conference play. Silverbacked1
How hard is it to get down there if I don't buy a Red Zone ticket? I would be very willing to come down from the mountain and have some fun, just don't want to buy another couple of tickets. (well actually my wife doesn't want me to buy some thing I already have. )
