I was a Bo supporter despite the multiple times he let Nebraska fans down and the tortuous road it was to follow in trying to justify his behavior and make excuses for him. I know from personal experience that his family, god bless them, are very nice people and that Bo has some (sort of) endearing qualities. But I have to agree with Sipple and undoubtedly everyone else in our dear state that  the $150,000 per month NU will be paying him for umpteen years is the worst use of the money I can conceive. I am not Jean Peck, but what man in his right mind would stand in front of kids and make f---ing statements like he made about his former boss without being a total a--hole? Good riddance to the man who obviously will never coach at a major level again. Peace to him and I hope he gets some anger management at Youngstown before he is allowed to stand in front of college athletes again. Just had to vent a little this morning.

Ironic, isn't it, that the guy who fired him (basically) from here in 2003 and got fired from here the same year Bo returned just got fired from Pitt?  They both lasted 7 years at their next gig and both had largish to huge buyouts upon leaving DONU.

I think we are getting a glimpse as to why the team was so Jekyll and Hyde under Bo.  I think Bo has the brains and football smarts to be a great coach...but his personality and the culture established within the program ultimately did him in.  He claims the players were so mentally beaten down...why? The team was 8-1 heading into the Wisconsin game and they were up 17-3 before the 56 unanswered points by Wiscy.  I hope Riley...and I think he will, will create a culture as to where the players and coaches can embrace the Nebraska fanbase as I don't think that was every the case under Bo.

I was really sorta Bo-indifferent.  Yeah, 9 wins/year sure beats losing seasons half the time like we had for the six years before he arrived.  OTOH ... he's got a lotta baggage.  A lotta warts.  After this most recent tantrum, I don't think 9 wins justifies keeping him around.  Act with some f---ing dignity OK?

Personally, I thought the 2011 Audio-gate was much worse than this final Audio-2.0. Bo cared for the players, he just didn't care that the players should "Play For Nebraska". Hope it works okay at YSU for Bo & fam, glad he's no longer in Lincoln with his pettiness, bitterness & general disdain for the Husker fandom & admin. Change can be good for all.
