Effort and intensity was there tonight. But we needed some help from the refs and to shoot close to a 50 percent mark. Not going to come close.

This game is completely exposing how one-dimensional we are. Take away the 3-pointer, and we have nothing offensively. Also, a lack of a playmaker on offense makes life even more difficult.

We should make this game decide the governor of Nebraska. If Creighton wins, it's a democrat and if Nebraska wins, it's a republican. Because clearly everybody thinks this game determines whether this is a red state or a blue state.
