Sounds like Omaha got a big cloud burst getting people out with boats. 5 " and still raining at my house (90th and Dodge)...I was out cleaning sewer grates that clogged up with leaves to avoid flooding...The folks in Northeast Omaha are not so lucky as they have a very old sewer system that joins storm and sewage systems...with this heavy downpour...they backup in lower parts up the main drains...eewww! Things I have to be thankful for...no heavy hail so far here in central Omaha. I feel sorry for the folks further north. I wish them the best. Quote

Turned out ok since I was watching the Red Sox game and went to sleep thinking they would win. Thank goodness I had one of those "surge protector" thingees.
