Do we go with an eight man rotation next year?  If not, and based on the current incoming group, who plays and who sits?  Who is in your rotation?  Plus, a bonus question, who redshirts?

With regard to the first question, Kidney votes yes by proxy.

And Bradguru also votes for an 8-man so that makes two ... no, wait, one vote for an 8-man rotation.

Petteway \  Top two in minutes

Shields  ~ 30/game each

Pitchford -- Will start and swing b/w 4 and 5

Smith   \  Probably split

Ayegba  /  time at the 5

Parker  -- At worst a defensive spark off the bench

Fuller  -- Significant playing time only if he can defend

Rivers  -- Minutes squeezed by signing of Ayegba

Webster/Smith  -- One of them probably starts at point

Depends who else we add

Probably will be more than 8 no matter what.

I think it's too early to estimate a rotation because there are still a couple of possible adds out there who could change a lot of things.

Until Tarin Smith proves himself, I'm going to stick with Tai Webster as the presumptive starter at PG.  I still believe he will come back in the fall as a significantly better player than he was as a freshman.

Unless Ayegba comes in and just tears it up, you probably will have pretty much the same starting lineup next year that we ended with this year, with Pitchford at the 5 and probably Rivers at the 4.

I think two players are locks to start:  Petteway and Shields.

Pitchford is a near lock to start.

Webster is a probable starter at either the 1 or the 2, depending on Tarin Smith and Ayegba.

Tarin Smith and Ayegba are both possible starters depending on how good they end up being.

I think Miles will go at least 9 deep and possible a tenth will get at or near 10 minutes.

"40 minutes of Hell" ala'  Arkansas 1994, hopefully we'll have enough interchangeable parts and flat out talent that we can come at people in waves. All of this will sort itself out of course, but it's nice to have a stacked roster without a HUGE drop-off between your 7 to 10 players.

We're getting better but we don't have that sort of depth and Miles doesn't really seem like a press guy...he's much rather them set up to prevent fast break points.

I'd like to see us press every once and a while though.
