REDZONEDAN Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 All I can say is WOW! I've been to a lot of games over the years, and I've never seen a crowd like this. Everyone brought their "A" game tonight. I'd like to especially thank the students. You guys were awesome! Also, I've been wanting to say this for so long. We're going dancing! jaimes2000 and HolyBobpilgrimage 2 Quote
Nighthawk Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Think it was Jean and her caregiver that didn't show up and kept it from hitting the 16 thousand mark. HuskerActuary 1 Quote
doc1394 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Bo Ryan may say that the team wasn't affected by the crowd, but I can guarantee you that Traevon Jackson doesn't play that terribly at home. Man has he regressed Jadler 1 Quote

Man has he regressed Jackson must've had nightmares last night and they all included BENNY PARKER!!! Benny was completely in his head and frustrated him all night! It was awesome! Quote
hhcmatt Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Think it was Jean and her caregiver that didn't show up and kept it from hitting the 16 thousand mark. Actually, the fire marshal has something to do with it. I'm pretty sure the limit in the building is 16k. I don't think we can beat the attendance record tonight until we expand the stadium. Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 I still do not have a voice from last night. That was intense, so glad I was able to attend. Quote
colhusker Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Miles comments about the crowd in his press conference were typical of Tim, funny as hell. Quote

And even then how much can we actually expand it? I don't recall where I heard (maybe on this board) that there is something that says no indoor arena can seat more than Century Link? Don't know if they were just kidding or if they were serious. Quote

49r Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Yep, the limit on seating was only intended for the initial construction. We can (and I imagine it won't be long, will) expand by about 1500-2000 seats Quote
hhcmatt Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 BTW, I actually had a dull headache after the game. I think Miles got what he wanted there. Here was his comments On what grade the crowd received for tonight's performance:"They got an A++, they got the Ralphie. A+++++. Be sure not to shoot your eye out, people. Safety first. Quote
49r Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 dimes, I still have a headache...and I can barely talk. Quote
