unl Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I just wanna know how many students are going to the game. What's the hype like on campus? Quote

There's nearly as many students going to this one game than there were an entire season during the last decade. So glad we're going to get student support for this game. We could use as many as we can for this game. Quote
HolyBobpilgrimage Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I'm a student, and as far as I can tell, it's gonna be hard to even get a seat. A lot of us, I hear, are going to be allotted the north commons walkway to stand and watch. I'll be coming around 3-5 sometime and a lot of my friends are coming even earlier. It's gonna be crazy. Hopefully the hype isn't too much, but our guys are a family now, so I'm not worried. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Weather is not going to be too bad. And a quality sleeping bag... think about it... Quote
nebrasketball10 Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 I was going to ask if students ever camp out anymore. Heck, we camped out during the Collier years and there wasn't all that much to get excited about. Shuttlesworth 1 Quote
hhcdave Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 How are students not camped out right now? Like the above poster, I was a student from 99-03 and we camped out FOUR different times, OUTSIDE of the Devaney (not even underneath) when it was about 10 degrees outside and we were awful. Come on students!!! Quote
nuled2dance Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Can they camp out down there....the Bob did have the indoor tunnels to block wind/cold weather etc. Quote
Jadler Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 1. The doors to that tunnel at the Bob were removed years ago. It is fucking freezing in there. 2. There are enough good seats that we dont have to camp out overnight. 3. You can't pregame is you camp out. I prefer drunk students to people that are there 12 hours early. (As someone who camped for 3 years this new arena is amazing.) Quote

HuskerActuary Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Did I see correctly on twitter that some are in line now? Quote
Jadler Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Did I see correctly on twitter that some are in line now? I just went by and didn't see anyone. Guess no one wants free breakfast. Quote
Dean Smith Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 There were pictures tweeted at 5:00 AM of students lining up at the Vault. Quote

This is my dilemma, I definitely want good seats, but I really am trying to go to the railyard before then game, I'm hoping 2 hours early is early enough to get 4 seats on the side Jadler 1 Quote
