While recognizing the fact that a simple google search could provide the answer, it's not conducive to the ancillary dialog that will come with the questions:   Did Nebraska ever have a first team All-Conference player in the Big 12?  Who was the last from Nebraska?  Any notable snubs??

I believe Maric was a two-time all Big 12 player, but I am not 100% sure.

I believe it said in the World-Herald recently that NU has had only two sophomores named all-league first team since WWII - Fort and Hoppen.

Petteway is definitely deserving to become the third such player - however it probably comes down to whether NU is able to continue to win enough to keep him in the conversation. So far, so good.

Also this from the OWH before today's game:

Husker guard Terran Petteway entered this weekend as the Big Ten's leading scorer at 18.0 points a game. No Nebraska player has ever won a conference scoring title at least back to 1950, when comprehensive records began.

Shavon needs to be under consideration for all league as well.  Wouldn't that be something.  To only have two sophomore all league players in the post WWII era, then all of a sudden have two in the same year!

Shavon made a couple of all-league moves last night.  One in the first half, with Petteway out of the game and the shot clock winding down, Shavon made a spin-dribble into the short corner and elevated for a mid-range jumper that he nailed, nothing but net.  IIRC, that shot ended about a 4-5 point Purdue run.

One thing during this run of wins we've had that has been different (in addition to non-scheduled attrition of 1 player) has been Shavon being more assertive about finding his offense.  He is taking (and making) shots now that he would have passed up earlier in the year, and that is paying big dividends for us.
