We're playing them at home.  We should beat them handily at home.  We should have beaten them there.

As Miles said, "We are NOT going to let these guys sweep us."

And, yes, I do think we've sort of "arrived" if that's what you want to call it.  I think we're a tough team now.  One of the better teams in the conference.  We've come a long way since November.  We've even come a long way since January.  We're not doing it with smoke and mirrors like Northwestern earlier this year.

Penn State might only be two games back right now.  But after we get done with them, they'll be 3 games back.

Penn State has road wins at OSU and Indiana.  They have already beaten us.

They are not anywhere close to a gimme.  We need to figure out how to limit the damage Frazier can do.

This is a team we should beat handily.

I am a little surprised by your sentiment Norm.  I guess you think we have "arrived?"

We are only 2 wins better than PSU right now if we lose to them than they hold the tiebreaker; it is not inconceivable that they could get a better B1G tourney seed than us.

If we are the team now that Norm and a lot of people including myself think we are... We should win this one handily.

The sad thing is is that I have a feeling the student section won't be full. People see penn state at the bottom of the league and they see us in the middle. They don't see it as a big game as us die hard students do. They don't understand how big this game is!

Sucks to say this, but I will be on vacation in Mexico for this game because of a Wedding, not to happy about it at all, but listed my extra tickets in the market place if anyone is looking for a pair of tickets. PM me if interested.

This has the makings of a classic Nebrasketball let-down game.  Coming off a big win, bubble talk, and a beatable opponent at home.  Collier and Doc always seemed to lose those.   I hope it's different with Miles.

And people were worried about the kids getting big heads!

I can't believe our fan base can get cocky so quickly.

When was the last time we beat a team handily?  December 21st against the Citadel was our last double digit win.  Seriously, we haven't beaten a team by 10 points in a long long time.

And furthermore, this is still basketball.  It is a wildly unpredictable game.  Is MSU not good because they lost to us?  Is OSU bad because they lost to PSU?

It's not all that unpredictable and we did beat Minnesota pretty handily regardless of that score.

Penn State is a tough nosed team...they aren't going to back down nor will they give up.

We're a more talented team and play better at home than on the road.  We are definitely capable of winning handily by playing hard and sticking to our game plan.  I doubt anyone on that team, after giving away the game at Penn St, is taking them lightly.  No idea how the crowd will react.

We've had a couple of those moments already this year and passed those tests. I think this team is pretty locked in right now.

Haha who cares what kind of head I have. Honestly its not all that "cocky." I know you like to play the debby downer, down to earth kind of guy, but you can only go so long before you have to start to admit that "hey, maybe I am wrong, and we are a better team than I am giving us credit for." Or maybe there will always be those fans out there that want to look at the opposite side of the painting. Do what you wish, but the side of the painting I am looking at is pretty, and I think I will stay staring.

I would argue that this is the first game we have had with real bubble talk.

And the reason I worry about our fans getting a big head is because if Penn State punches us in the mouth the PBA could become love library just like the Bob used to be in a big hurry.

Do I think we are a better team than PSU?  Absolutely.

Can we blow them out? Sure, but I can't remember the last real blowout this team had; probably FGCU.

Would I be surprised if we lose?  Yes, somewhat, I would be surprised.  Not because I don't think PSU can beat us but more because I am starting to believe this is a team of destiny.  I hope we aren't a paper tiger.

Would I be devastated?  Yes I would.  The MSU win would mean so much more if it came in the middle of a 5 game winning streak as opposed to a book end to a 3 game win streak.
