Cincinnati game TV

Question here. The Cincinnati game was originally scheduled to be on ESPN2. Then the game time was changed due to Cincinnati's bowl game and moved to 11am. Huskers.com still lists espn2 as the carrier but if you go to espn.com and go through the NCAAB schedule it lists Nebraska/Cincinnati for the 28th at 11am on ESPN3.

Yeah it looks weird on the DirecTV guide, too - it shows up on ESPN2 as NU at Cincy at 11, but it only has a 1/2 hour spot. The Chick-Fil-A Golf Challenge is listed from 11:30 to 1 on ESPN2. 

 

I have to think this is just a glitch though or it just hasn't been fully updated - since Coach Miles said the primary reason NU agreed to the game was to have a national TV broadcast, there's no way NU allows Cincy to switch the game time from 3 pm to 11 am without guaranteeing it would still be on ESPN2.

 

Going further down the guide, the Chick-Fil-A Golf Challenge is also listed from 330 to 430 on Dec 28, so I'd guess that's some sort of taped/advertising thing, and ESPN2 will just shift it from 1130 to 330, and the guide just hasn't been fully updated.

 

Other than NU-Cincy the only live broadcast on ESPN2 that date late morning/afternoon is E Michigan-Duke basketball from 1 to 3 pm, so it shouldn't be a problem to shift NU-Cincy's ESPN2 broadcast from 3 pm to 11 am.

Awesome. Was just planning ahead in case I had to shift to streaming it to the tv instead of being able to simply flip on espn2.

Hey, I know Hampton is an hour from Lincoln, but if anyone wants to make the trip, we'll have drink specials during the game and food specials after it's over.  Heck, I'll even provide chips and cip salsa for gametime munchies.
