49r Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 One of the more unheralded of the "Killer P's" is profiled in Lee B's article: http://www.omaha.com/article/20130913/HUSKERS/130919347 Quote
Swan88 Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Gotta love the effort early last year despite the pain! Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 Killer Ps. Hmmm. Would that be Peltz, Pitchford, Petteway, Parker and Shields? Quote

colhusker Posted September 14, 2013 Report Posted September 14, 2013 If Peltz plays meaningful minutes this year we are in trouble. Talent upgrade should leave him on the bench. Quote
cipsucks Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 I hope Peltz plays this year. We haven't had a native Nebraskan contribute to this program since Dave Hoppen..... 49r and atskooc 2 Quote
lang Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 Woah...Peltz can dunk? Joking or serious ? Quote
Swan88 Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 Woah...Peltz can dunk?Joking or serious ? Serious, according to Peltz, who is quoted in the article linked above as follows: “I dunked off two feet with two hands last week, so we’re making progress,” he said, smiling. “I’m living my dream to play Division I basketball. But last year, just the basic moves left and right were very hard.” Quote
lang Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 I saw that too. I was trying to figure out if dimes was surprised that Peltz could dunk. Quote
Cookie Belcher Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 I am surprised that Peltz can dunk with two hands off two feet, for sure. Norm Peterson 1 Quote

lang Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I saw that too. I was trying to figure out if dimes was surprised that Peltz could dunk. It was a bit tongue-in-cheek Cool. Here's a question for you all....can Benny or Trevor dunk ?? If their listed height is correct, I bet they both can or can come really close. Quote
lang Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 You know I really like the idea of Peltz redshirting. --He will probably not be 100% this year anyway --he will likely not play much this year --therefore another year of a very fine practice player --when healthy, I really believe he can give small spot quality minutes ( solid ball handler, gritty, maybe can gain some confidence in his shot--which looks fine to me). Not saying he will play, but could if needed. You never know with injuries, transfers or any number of things. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 I thought I read something prior to Benny coming in that said he could dunk. I am not convinced that he can, but again, if memory serves... Quote
