Silverbacked1 Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 He was #93 on the video right? He only set some screens and threw the ball away and had a smaller guy muscle him out for a rebound. However #77 did a couple of things that were nice, also hustled. Quote
49r Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Heh, you guys are in mid-season "we didn't want him anyway" form! Kudos! Cell and hhcmatt 2 Quote
colhusker Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Heh, you guys are in mid-season "we didn't want him anyway" form! Kudos! Given this staff seems to coach the kids up a bit, he could have developed into something. I also preference my post with it may have been a bad night. Quote

Norm Peterson Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Heh, you guys are in mid-season "we didn't want him anyway" form! Kudos! If you read between the lines on one of my recent posts, I hinted that I wasn't convinced Bolden was a Rivals150 type player. And that was before he cut us from his list. So ... Just in my defense, here's what I said on the Pinder thread a couple of days ago: "Right now, I'm just hoping like heck we wind up with Robinson because he's athletic enough for his size and he has great hands. Bolden might or might not deserve to be a 4-star, but he looks better than Pinder who seems to me to be a little bit of a reach right now. Just my uneducated opinion. What about any of those kids from Team Africa that finished 3rd in that Adidas Nations tournament? A couple of them looked pretty solid in their win over Bolden, Pinder and team Australia." The comments about Team Africa were kind of intended as a back-handed remark (damning with faint praise) toward both Pinder and Bolden. I hate to do that to a prospective recruit publicly. At least until we're eliminated from contention. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Well of course I am. Have to certain keep traditions alive as we go on to new and better things, duh. Norm Peterson 1 Quote
Cookie Belcher Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Too bad, but not unexpected. I tried to warn everyone to keep their expectations in check when we had never even heard a single comment about Nebraska from the kid! ShortDust, Norm Peterson and Silverbacked1 3 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 You deserve a plus 1 for keeping your perspective here, Cookie. Quote
