I should probably clarify this.  He was talking about Nebraska being picked preseason to finish 12-14, not that he thought they would actually end up there.  He thinks they will end up higher than that.

Does the B1G have a 26 game Conference schedule where they could finish 12-14, or might Rutgers and Maryland join the conference in midseason where there Huskers could finish somewhere between 12th and 14th place?

There's no doubt in my mind that Kent actually thinks Maryland and Rutgers are a part of the Big 10 this coming season. Culhane should have corrected him on air.

It's slightly confusing with them announcing the 2014 football schedules and the majority of the basketball games being played in 2014.  I think "Germans? Pearl Harbor" applies here because I can only assume that KP was rolling.
