Another slow start.  Markowski with 8 and Moriarity with 6 is the scoring.  
 

The Mocs are quick on defense and our guards are having a tough time getting any penetration to kick out to shooters.  
 

Wonder if some illness has impacted some of our players.

29-20 at half.  The Mocs are very deliberate on offense and have caught us napping on the defensive end.  Defensively they are causing us problems.  We have to be easy to scout because we run the same offense.  We should pull away if we stay focused.

44-30 after three quarters.  It’s a grind.  Went over two minutes without scoring late before Weidner made a steal and layup at the buzzer.

 

B1G is really going to be tough.  Michigan St beat Iowa and is 10-0.

 

Georgia Tech is currently leading UNC in Chapel Hill and they are unbeaten.

This team must lead the country in unimpressive 20+ pt margin wins.  Says something about their schedule to date.  They will be exposed in the next three games unless the defensive effort and offensive efficiency show drastic improvements.  Today I saw one player play consistently well - Hake.

It may have been better than watching basketball wannabees dunking with the assistance of trampolines.   I have heard that there is a write in campaign to bring the shim-sham dancers back...

She really has improved since she got here. Pure hard work has gotten her there. She's pretty solid overall, just using the tools she has. Has learned the college game. 

 

And the Kendall's seemed to have broken out finally. They both have put in good minutes this year.

 

And yes, some of the next several games could be ugly.

I have to ask What does a impressive 20 point plus Win look alike

Minnesota - ok it was 19!  But the larger point imo is that this team still has quite a bit of potential even without Potts, but is generally underperforming.  Of course losing Potts hurt, but other than Hake none of the veterans has played consistently well or noticeably elevated their games.  Occasionally yes, consistently no.
