Huskerpapa Posted April 13 Report Posted April 13 Florida guard Alberte Rimdal, who started 50 career games for the Gators, announced Saturday on Instagram her decision to transfer to NU. The 5-foot-9 shooter from Koge, Denmark, made 34% of her career 3s at UF — 89.3% from the free throw line. mwm89 1 Quote
Cazzie22 Posted April 13 Report Posted April 13 Should be a good fit. Welcome aboard. Now, let’s add a big girl. mwm89 1 Quote
Tom Jones Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 sorry to see that she has only one year of eligibility left, but her experience should help stabilize the position in the short term Quote

B-town hoopsfan Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 Wish she was closer to 6 foot but looks like she can shoot it as well as having some off the bounce game. mwm89 1 Quote
redsteve Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 (edited) Here's her stats. Has played quite a bit in her 3 years at Florida, and will be a seasoned player. ....but is not the high minuets like Jaz usually played. Has good percentage at 3's, but doesn't look like she might go off for 20 pt. game, ....in the Gator system anyway. In ours it could be a different story, Looks to be a perimeter guard. https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/player/stats/_/id/4898610/alberte-rimdal VIDEO https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/39552712 Edited April 14 by redsteve Faux Mike Peltz, Montana_85 F, Cazzie22 and 2 others 4 1 Quote
All About the Corn Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 She is shooting guard. I see her as a insurance policy if Allison and Logan can not go or struggle with injuries. As with all of Amy's teams, she will see time on the court. The Don 1 Quote
HUD Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 Our new assistant coach now has a year under his belt in working with our team in practice and games. He had two years with Alberte at Florida so he should have a good idea how she would fit in our system and be able to consistently contribute with whatever minutes she gets. It will all work out even though it will be for only one year especially since we won't lose many guards the next year and have an excellent recruit already committed for 2025. whoopdeedoo 1 Quote
