Maryland (17-12) vs. Nebraska (21-10) Game Thread

Husker Ladies Lead by Seven at Halftime. Red-Hot from Three (10-18 vs 1-2 for MD) but not so much underneath (7-14 vs 15-25 for MD).
Treys are keeping us in the game, but we need to show up in the paint, where MD is doing a workman-like job (12 vs 24 for MD).

Anybody's Game. Will we continue to shoot lights-out beyond the arc?  Will we start showing up under the basket?  Will the refs start calling some of the fouls against the favored team?

looks great with making all those threes.  my fear is that the Terps are more likely to keep hitting those penetration lay ups than we are to keep hitting threes.

We need Kendall M in the game to at least challenge Sellers.  Foul trouble may doom us unless our hot shooting continues.  Last foul on Jaz was bad because she has to be able to come down.

I would rethink the hard hedging on the high pick.  They are scoring at will on the roll to the hoop.

No, sir!  i watched it again. Yes the defender fell/flopped after the contact.  but AM's elbow into the defender's shoulder BEFORE the flop was an offensive foul.  The call was correct. All coaches and players should know by now that the balance is changing between charge and block in favor of defenders.  It's time to adapt to this.

I just don't understand how we can always foul so much when Maryland (or any opponent) drives to the basket; but Never seem to get the foul call in our favor when we are shooting under Their basket, i.e. Markowski trying to shoot amid a forest of opponents arms.
