Alexis will not pass the ball high to low to Potts even though Potts has position established.  Baffling.  We need to defend and rebound because our shooting may not hold up.

Not a great way to end the 3rd quarter for the Huskers. Sheesh.

We deserve to lose ending the quarter like that.  Jaz casts up a bad three with time left and then they drive to the hoop and score, we can’t rebound the missed FT and they hit a last second three. Down 46-38.

 

We need a player who can drive to the rim and finish.

Geez, Moriarity makes a nice spin move to bucket and misses. Alexis finally passed to Potts down low and she finished.  Sanders, a reserve guard is killing us.

In retrospect, the way the third quarter ended killed us.

Yup 5th year player lauching a 30 footer with like 8 seconds on the shot clock allowed a quick 5-0 run to end the quarter, just a play you cant make.

three things:  1) the end of the 3rd quarter - failure to rebound a missed FT led to 3 pointer on a possession that never should have happened;  2) that was not a charge!; 3) Krull's giveaway at just under two minute point with a really lazy past cost loss of a possession and two points - coulda well been the game. 

 

Oh ... and the much of the game total absence of an offensive plan - just brought the ball down and threw up a three w/o even trying for a quality shot.

Got out played badly in 1st half.  Guards didn't score well  for three qtrs. At one point in 3rd qtr, I think, Markowski had almost as many points as all the guards combined. Just can't be that way and win consistently. The whole game guard play was weak offensively.  We struggle driving to basket.

(as has been said by everyone all season) And...we don't shoot the mid range well, or often

 

At one point late in our rally, Hake hits a three, and is taken out   ?

 

MINN:
And we got out coached. When Minn gets more talent ...watch out. Their new coach gets everything out of their players....and they don't have loads of skilled players, but they play up to their individual skill levels and they do it aggressively.  They win by being well prepared and well coached in the game, along with a 2 or 3 skilled players. 

Looking at the stats...almost every Minn player scored.

 

Playing there, helped Minn win. Home court is everything in the B1G. If played here, we probably win, but the final score is all the counts today.

bringing the ball down and throwing up 3s is the Amy Williams offense. Losing to MN when Braun goes 2-17 is pretty crazy.
