Yet what has flown under the radar is the signing of Amiah Hargrove. She appears to be a great signing as well. Her papa was a long time NFL'r, which tells me that she has competitive lineage. regardless, welcome aboard Amiah!!! mwm89, Cazzie22, Montana_85 F and 3 others 3 3 Quote

If she hasn't signed, then Coach Williams will be in a bit of hot water. A coach cannot comment on an unsigned player. And, based on the quote in the LJS, coach provided commentary on her... "Amiah is a high achiever in everything she pursues, and we could not be more thrilled to be welcoming her to the Husker family," Williams said. "Her size and athleticism combined with her versatile skill set make her the perfect fit for our team on the court. Her high character, work ethic and drive make her the perfect fit off the court. She has a bright, bright future, and we are so excited it will be while wearing Husker red." mwm89 and Cazzie22 1 1 Quote

HUD Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 I agree that getting Amiah Hargrove is huge and may be as good as getting Natalie Potts for this year. Potts a power forward and Hargrove a small forward/swing/three position player at 6-2 is great looking to the future. We will need a high level recruit at center in the 2025 class. Cazzie22 1 Quote
All About the Corn Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 (edited) So is Kennadi 5'7" or 5'4"? In the Husker right up it has both. Edited November 8, 2023 by All About the Corn Quote

redsteve Posted November 12, 2023 Report Posted November 12, 2023 (edited) This video shows some of Amiah's versatility, and really looks to have a lot of smooth and natural BBall skills. Really need to see her play with Nebraska teammates but appears she might be a 3-4 with her close in/ mid range shooting. And size needed to be near the basket rebounding opportunities. An on floor comparison we'll see later, but Potts may be a different type (and rare) of player that can play the entire floor offense or defense. (remember watching her HS play where our new full court defense is what Potts played in HS her whole career.) What we're doing now is second nature scheme wise, to Potts already. Everybody's said this is an excellent recruiting class. Still need a big, but the next few years is going t be fun. She will have to make adjustments in her game; but most of her abilities will easily transfer to the college level. Cazzie22 and mwm89 1 1 Quote
