In my mind, Illinois was a critical win.  On the road vs a Big Ten team in a a game we could have certainly lost.

Perhaps the gray clouds are now starting to part just a bit.  Our offense is playing with reserves and under classmen...if they EVER get their ducks in a row, we should be bowl bound.

I am counting on the hope that we have not come close to our peak performance yet.  Please...

Can we find three more wins on the schedule?

I don't see a game on the schedule we can't win. The bye week comes at a perfect time. We won't lose a game in October, and we won't lose a home game for the rest of the season.  We'll find out today if Maryland is for real.

The only time our defense has really been an issue was against Michigan.

The only time our offense has really been an issue is every single game this season.

Fix that side of the ball and we're just sitting here crossing our fingers for a bowl game. We're instead looking to compete in some more competitive matchups.

Nebraska now has the same amount of wins as the Heisman National Champion Colorado team. I wonder when they'll start handing out the trophies to that team.

CU still has Ore St, UCLA, Wash St, Arizona and Utah on their schedule.

We could finish with more wins than them and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Still won't stop ESPN from giving them the title.

Good lesson in patience, everyone. Early hype over a "ranked" TCU team who is now 4-4 and lost to Kansas State 41-3 yesterday doesn't make you good, nor equate to sustainable success.

We have a lot of fix between now and next season, but there's been some noticeable progress with our team. Not even considering that first loss was due to a devastating microscopic toe tap.

Can't believe we are just one win away from bowl eligibility.  Wow.

I can't believe we didn't lose a game in October.  First time in 22 years.  Who would have predicted that?

My next prediction is we don't lose a game in November.

Ya know, we won  but you really walk away wondering how; especially when we continue to put the ball on the ground, plus enduring so many empty possessions.

You have to wonder what we may look like in a couple years if we can keep most of this staff together.

It's like the pendulum swung in an entirely different direction.  These are games we lose in a heartbreaker the past few years.

Defense and special teams are crucial to winning, when in the recent past Frost & Co. didn't particularly seem to spend much effort on the 'hidden' phases of the game such as field position, returns, field-goal block, coverage. And that's been the most welcome part of the Rhule & Co. change is the mindset it's created within the team, they seem to KNOW how to win. So refreshing to see Rhule say "go 1-0" each and every week. That's exactly the process the likes of T.O. & Nick Saban would preach to some of the greatest teams in modern football. Who knows where Rhule & Co. will get to, but the sky's the limit IMO.

I've watched this at least 5 times.  This is a leader.  This is what is sounds like to lead young men.  He’s not up there just saying this to get a win later.  He’s up there teaching.
I had a coach like that in high school. You'd run through a brick wall for him.
