Great chance for 3 more wins - ISU has a Friday starter who's been surprisingly good so far, but the rest of the staff is average to below avg. He's a strike thrower, so we need to be ready to hit tomorrow. 

 

They have a couple of good hitters who also hit for power, but the lineup overall isn't too worrisome. 

 

They played Arkansas to extra innings in a midweek game, but other than that, we'll be the toughest opponent they've faced. Hope we get off to a quick start offensively Friday, as I don't think the Redbirds can keep up with our offense once we get past their Friday guy.

NU's Jace Kaminska threw 71 strikes out of 104 pitches. Finished 7 inn. & only allowed 3 hits & 1 walk with 2 K's. That's real solid for a blustery, wet day.

And Cole Evans (from G.I.) is 4-4 today with 4 RBI. Followed up with a triple by Griffin Everitt! Huskers now lead 11-zip in the 7th inn.
