The 6-foot-2 Lenexa, Kansas, native committed just four days after college coaches were allowed to start making recruiting phone calls to the 2024 recruiting class.

Pierce attends Olathe Northwest, where she’ll be a junior this fall and also plays basketball.

She’s ranked No. 1 in the nation by Prep Dig. In the Prepvolleyball.com rankings, Pierce is ninth.

Nebraska All-American middle blocker Kayla Caffey’s time with the Huskers has come to an end as Nebraska head coach John Cook confirmed her decision to enter the transfer portal Thursday night.

It was a turbulent offseason saga for the Chicago native, who was granted her seventh season of eligibility in May by the NCAA. However, Caffey did not receive the green light from Nebraska to return. Recently, on the latest episode of "Kicking back with the Cook", Cook mentioned that Nebraska had cleared up its end and the "ball was in Kayla's court."

What the heck did she do… so strange.

Reading on another board that a player had some issues, she went to the coaches with the issues was told to work through them. The player ended up in the hospital from an overdose. I don't know if this is true, but that is what I read.

Whole lot of fight when we play Wisconsin, but we sure do get overmatched. May not have won the conference title this year, but we still have a chance to win when it matters the most. One more and then we're onto the tournament.

I would say, expectations coming in were super high.  Always tough to match expectations that high.  However, we seem to be on a different level than Wisco and that’s a little worrisome.

They laid a fatty one last night.

The wheels are not only falling off this weekend the vehicle has crashed and burned.

Can the loss of one player cause this much disarray?

This team is showing that they don’t have a bench or setter.  Hope one of these new high ranking recruits coming in next year can play.

The loss of Kenzie Knuckles is huge. Her back row play was vital to having the number one defense in the NCAA. She was the floor leader too. Nicklin was out yesterday and she’s a really good defender. Averages about 3 digs per set. So with the loss of two major defenders, the offense has to pick it up. Tips aren’t going to cut it. Hit the ball. Hopefully Nicklin is back this week, that will help a little. I’m thankful that they didn’t end up in the same region as Texas or Wisconsin, but Louisville will be tough.
