This is some very welcome news. I recognize he will be 35 by the end of the contract, but he is so skilled that I'm not worried about that.  Maybe his work rate diminishes and he spends more time as a target forward rather than a false 9.  Regardless, the past two years have taught us that there is a massive performance gap between the games he plays in and the games he misses.

Big win for the boys tonight. Just got their nose above the playoff line now but still lots of work to do.

Never did I believe we’d have a shot at just something to play for on decision day after the start we had this year. Definitely a long shot, but our chance isn’t 0.

2nd beat RPI in the Big 10 is pretty salty,

 

We also very well could finish 4-0 with the schedule we’ve got coming up which would put us at 7-1-2 in conference.

Cooler than the fact that we have a top 25 soccer team is the fact that we have a player in the running for the NCAAs version of the golden boot (most goals scored)

 

Eleanor Dale added 2 more goals to that total today in our 3-0 win!  She’s in the lead… two in front of a girl from Texas.

There’s just no excitement for GB and the USMNT which are heading into the biggest cycle we’ve ever had.  We looked passive again today.  This was not your father’s German team.  It’s going to be a long 4 years I have a feeling if we keep GB at the helm.
