This is only the 8th game when we have committed 2 errors.  We have yet to commit more than 2 in a game this year.

Baseball can be such a wild game.  Now if we can somehow hold serve on the mound....... This is why I have always thought you need to make pitchers throw strikes- put the onus on them.  If they don't and you can lay off, likely good things will happen for you.  Now we're within range.

I said it looked bleak, but did say I hadn't given up yet (on them).  If nothing else, I'm too stubborn to give up.  I hate losing!

A stud who gave everything.  I bet that swing took a little more out of him; sacrificed for the team.  Olson pitched well to give us the chance.  Now we have at least a split in the pod.  GBR!!

I don't think that's the case.  I think they are swinging as hard as they can every time.  With 2 strikes, it is worth cutting back and trying to make contact.

Congrats to the NU baseball team on an outstanding performance in sweeping this very tough pod and esp. of course for winning the B1G baseball regular season title!!  Just an amazing effort all the way around.  Now, if we can win the series at home v. UM, could we be a 1 seed?  I would think so regardless of no non conf. games- we certainly would deserve it.  Let's go after it!  GBR always!!
